I recently finished painting my Cygnar - so I decided to unpack it all and take a couple group pictures! Raiding all the different cabinets and bags took me well over an hour - but seeing it all sprawled out on the table was worth it I'm especially happy that, despite amassing the collection over a couple years, they look very consistent, despite changing up a couple things. I'm getting close to owning the whole faction; I've got all casters, but I'm missing the Blockhouse, both flavors of Long Gunners, Stormguard and Precursors. Not particularly eager to pick those up. A couple more minis, like Stormsmith Grenadiers and Brickhouse are in the mail. Here's the group photo: A couple casters. I haven't even played them all yet, that's still on the to do list. My most-played caster is Caine2. Trenchers gonna Trench. I used to play Kraye2's theme back in MK2, that's what I needed the two units of rangers for. Kraye rocks. The stormwall took me a month to paint back in the day. I bought the Trencher CA just to put the sniper on the base. This was back in MK2, when the Trenchers where rubbish - the blister came with a thick dust covering and black-and-white MK1 cards By comparison, I got the Hurricane on a Friday and assembled and painted it until Sunday. It was cool to challenge me to get the model done fast, and to see how much faster I've gotten over the years. Storm Division. The second unit of Stormblades was painted up for a Siege2 list. I played it 3 or 4 times. Conclusion: better on paper. Waaay better

Well done. I echo your point about the army looking great because it has a consistent colour scheme. When did you buy your first Cygnar model? How do you think your painting skills have improved since then?

Thanks guys!
I started the Hobby in 2012. the Stryker1 you see in the Casterpic is from then. I since added the white baserims and changed the formula for the base colours, which I've kept consistent throughout.
My painting has actually regressed, I have to admit. Back when I started, I was still under the impression that this game was a semi-skirmisher, and put a lot of time into every single miniature. Now I've got two fully painted factions (my Legion is almost as big, plus I didn't picture all the Cygnar-specific mercs), and speedpaint a lot more. I used to paint the eyes on every model, for example, now I just wash the faces.
Truth be told, that's also in part due to an eye surgery I had last year - I've been blind in one eye all my life, and to top that of got a fixed lens in my good eye last year which keeps me from seeing very small details. Even if I wanted to, I can no longer paint eyes. I already use a desk lamp with a magnifying glass for finnicky edge hihglighting. But other than that, I see sharper than ever since the surgery and am glad I can still keep painting my mans and doing this hobby that I love!

As a fellow Cygnar player, and one who is more into the hobby side of this game, your army is stunning! Great work man!

I love how consistent the army is. That's something I struggle with - you can see big differences between my Khador 'jacks depending on when I painted them.

Beautiful work Sir! It’s amazing to see such a large number of models painted consistently.
