Now that theme forces are settling in and many of them are infantry based, I've been hedging bets on the next ADR roster. I feel that Feora1 is coming up in Season 8 and I really enjoyed playing her in MkII, but now it's time to plan for the future. The good news is that she hasn't changed much, though the game has. Feora is a caster that wants to be delivered to the enemy herself and I want to make a list that does that.
A no brainer is Hand of Justice because they benefit almost 100% from each other being in the list. With her feat, sprays, Blazing Effigy, and Wall of Fire and his boosted sprays, it's just fantastic. A Templar with Ignite is old tech from MkII but it also probably works out well with her now. Adding Shield Guard makes it work even better. It makes a great late game anchor, too. A Dervish for Ignite, side steps into position for Blazing Effigy is also older tech and probably still works well, too. These three jacks give a ton of infantry clearing and body moving with a decent bit of armor cracking thrown in to help open paths for Feora. A minimum Choir rounds out the jacks with increased damage.
I'd like to take advantage of her Veteran Leader ability. Naturally, the Flameguard theme, Guardians of the Temple, is just the fit. She needs an escort of Temple Flame Guard, but I was thinking of taking that a step beyond. I'm not sure if 2 units would be better, though. I really like RAT 6 Cleansers with her, they stand a decent chance to hit and Ashen Veil on them means they can be near Temple Flameguard and drive up their already decent defense against living models. Maybe triangles of two TFG in front with 1 Cleanser behind them to move up. Any living, non fire immune 1" or less reach model would have to contend with defense 15 or 17 on the charge. That's tough, and then they also have Tough and no Knockdown if they do get hit. However, with her feat, Cleansers don't feel totally necessary, but they also provide fire outside of her feat, so maybe just a minimum unit could do.
Daughters could benefit Feora, as well. When Feora gets up field, they can ambush to clear out some infantry, or they can AD and hold the line while TFG and the rest position. They'd essentially be a sacrificial unit but anything they do would be swell.
That leaves solos. Pyhrrus is obvious with his TFG friends and he's free. Nicia looks nice because she can sprint in, kill 2-3 models, and sprint out. Her gun stands a reasonable chance to hit with Veteran Leader if she's close enough to Feora. The rest could be support, Wracks, Vassals, Mechaniks. I like a Reclaimer with her because it can give her Ashen Veil or Future Sight, whichever she needs most.
I think that covers it. The list I'm looking at right now is:

Max TFG with UA
Max Cleansers with UA (could trade these for more TFG or drop to min and drop daughters for TFG)
