Funnily my first games with Strakhov2 were against Skorne: - vs Raseheth1
- vs Morghoul1
I didn't have a problem to deal with these lists. What would you play against SK2?

... probably Zaal2 x.x; a high MAT POW 13, 2 inch range, with 17 armor for 20-30 models. Try to feat before the charge, then simply stampede through while trying to only do enough damage to your heavy jacks to take down a system or two.

A higher model count and attack volume would most probably help, I guess. ARM 17 wouldn't really help against POW 13 of the Pikes/Dragons, does it?

I guess I'll have to play Makeda3 again. She should deal with this kind of list rather well.
Bloodrunners should be absolutely brutal into this aswell.

during feat turn they all get +5 arm. They also have +2 mov from the ancestral guardians and +1 mat for fielding Hakaar.
The key to it really is volume. The first line (10 models) can easily take a pikeman charge with more than a few to spare, but then all their souls are absorbed by the models behind them, making Hakaar arm 21 with 7 boxes. The souls also get absorbed by the immortals UA who can make them incorporeal for the TURN in order to negate anything from getting in their way, the soul ward to give out tough rolls as well. Vengeance from the models that survive... yeah it's a pretty brutal list, especially when you run it with the basic support package that'd reduce your damage by 2. I've seen a few people ask on Skorne forums what the weakness of a true Zaal2 Exalted list is and the only answer I can give them is continuous corrosion.
