That is one of the priciest huge base models to date. Ouch. I will still get one, but now I need to save more than I thought.

Well, the price doesn't really matter. Being in the UK, I was never going to get or see one anyway.

Oooof ! 165 USD is rough. It's a very detailed model, but hot damn that's a big uptick in deployment price. I wonder if that's indicative of how "solid" the cask is (meaning i'm curious if the cask portion is hollow, semi-hollow, or solid). Sucks for all the people having to pay importation taxes.

I really hope no one buys the model. 165 is disgusting. Please, everyone that wants to use this model; find a proxy.

Until PP gets an Euro/ world distributor i believe that these models will not sell that well outside of the US.
I'm sure that PP has more numbers than we do but it seems a weird business decision.

I guarantee they priced it so high because they think people love to concept too much to not buy it. I think it’s 100 percent them being too greedy and trying to test the waters to see what people will pay for thier huge based Models. If people boycott this mini, I doubt we will see another one priced this high

PP has always priced their minis on material and design costs, this thing is huge and has a ton of detail. I'm not at all surprised that it's this expensive, the molds for this thing must be insane. I do think it may have been in their best interest to simplify it for the sake of keeping that cost down but I don't think they're cackling in Scrooge McDuck-like glee here.

Have you seen how much detail is in that model? What about the other gargantuans that are less? I expected 120 or so, but 165 is absurd.

Isn’t an earth breaker like $155? Its also a gargantuan, it is still 10 dollars cheaper, and is availible through second hand retailer for a cheaper price...and yet you still barely see them anywhere. 165 is more expensive than a games workshop knight titan...

I was actually shocked that the dracodile was so cheap, though once I saw it in person I really it is a bit smaller than I expected. It's definitely a gorgeous model, but it's also only a few pieces. The hauler looks like it's gonna have a ton, which has a huge effect on the total cost of molds.
I don't disagree that it's expensive, perhaps too expensive, I just doubt that it's artificially inflated compared to the rest of the line.

I predict many wonderful, creative scratch-built versions of this
