The nice part from their perspective is in the event that they have a "swing and a miss" type moment, at least they've essentially built these to order. They're not just going to clog up LGS store shelves like so many Katherine Laddermore's in Mk2. Have they? I think the resin being used necessitates the models being built in China and shipped over.

I might be off on my count, but the resin Prime Axiom clocks in at approx. 51 parts not including base/stand. It sells (locally) for $124 CAD. At present, the HHH is $204.84. I don't know what about this model makes those 2 parts worth an additional $80, but quality only really factors in when it's being handmade because then you're paying for craftsmanship. Something like this, rendered digitally then molded digitally, should not feasibly cost what it does. Looks like I'm converting a WW.

Not to justify the pricing of this thing ((because if the price is what it says then I'm making mine out of a beer can like that other guy said)) but this IS preorder. Perhaps that's just the preorder price. *fingers crossed*

By my best reckoning a 12oz beer can would be a bit too large. I ended up making the keg ~3.25in long, 2.5in ends and 2.75 in the middle

Hrrrm... As there are northkin tuffalo, I'm not sure those need replacement and if not, magnetization is an option. Buying a decorative unit of whelps+some greenstuff kegs should be sufficient. Not quite sure what to use for the catapult yet. I think you have the right idea here tbh. I just primed my WW, and i could easily break it apart slightly to enable magnetization. What did you use to craft the big keg?

The keg is oven-bake clay; all the other stuff is craft sticks. Still a lot of detail work to do, but most of the major pieces are done:

gobber I like the custom Northkin Raiders as well, those things are £68 in the UK (after usual 10% discount), bloody mental!

It's a big beerbarrel on wheels. Very easy to sculpt, mold and cast. It should be hollow which saves half the material and again, very easy to cast. 165 dollars is robbery. Also, it's just too big regardless. Those two tiny carebears are not going to pull that anywhere. ... Carebears... I feel the conversion

It's things like including 26 kriel warrior shields on the real thing to my count (I skimped on mine), which is part of why the cost got so far out of hand.

gobber also the slingshot makes much more sense than the see-saw catapult of the original, anyone who has seen a video of a kid jumping on one end of a skateboard with a ball on the other end and subsequently getting hit in the face knows that

But I did also put it on the troll facebook 36cygnar24guy36 yeah the engineers were clearly drunk too. It also made good use of those bent poles on the real thing

I just received a $25 coupon from PP to "start the new year correctly". Anyone else receive this? Feels like a direct response to the Hooch Hauler backlash to me.... though I'm not complaining, since I'm now considering purchasing it...

I've also bought some stuff from the store, mostly parts.

I just received my 25 dollar coupon as well and put in my order with the free shipping. 139.99 for the thing, which is better than 165 + shipping.
There was a previous coupon just for Black Anchor industries sent out with mini-crate as well.
