After fiddling around a bit, I've cottened to the idea of this for at least the next few games. I need a paladin champ still, but I have enough paladins to proxy in the meantime. In large part this is driven by how much fun paladinspam in Durst FM has been. Vilmon (Master Strategist) Paladin Champ (dismounted) Min zealots Reclaimer 25pts Hand: 5 I also considered Frontline Commander and Mission Specialist, but I like Strategist for now so I can try out alot of battle plans.

Got to play a game. Teaching a local after a SR game.
I brought Faithful Masses! Vilmon (Master Strategist) Paladin champion (dismounted) Paladin Reclaimer Min zealots 25pts. Hand: 5
He cobbled a list from his WMH list Min trencher long gunners CA (Mission Specialist) Min trenchers 25pts Hand: 4
Salvage Mission
As with my first two games, the opponents guns got off to a great start, though I rolled pretty well on casualty rolls. But so did he, and I swiftly got down on numbers, including losing a paladin turn 3 to a hot boosted damage. Vilmon was a total tank midfield, whike the champ just toughed out on the right flank. Cyngar scored twice back to back, while some zealots managed to get a marker back between the two of them (one died). The champ took a few shots and charges over a few turns, and hovered at one life for the back half of the game. He powered through trenchers (opponents Tough rerolls on Injury ALL went (BAD) and managed to get a second marker back in turn 5. So a tie, though I was badly outnumbered. The reclaimer hit about midgame and did pretty well, with alot of hand help. He's not a -1 RC for sure. Hope they fix that.

If you have a couple of boosts and additional dice a nephalim won't survive the charge Well on the charge you couldn't use the boosts unless you were boosting the attack roll. But you could technically get silly with the additional die cards. You coulddo around 15-20 damage with the charge attack. One rounding would take a decent spike though.
