While I absolutely love battle reports, I’ve been hoping to find videos or advice somewhere on game maneuvers or tactics on how to use interesting combinations of models, even really obvious ones. The tactica entries we have linked on the forum are awesome, but what smaller tips on ability usage, maneuvers and how to position, engage, maximize or just correctly use certain models do people have? If people have some good breakdowns, I’d be tempted to make some gifs or image guides.
Don’t feel the need to limit the discussion to these models, but some requests: Shadowhorn Saytr tips and combos, Sentry Stones and best placement of summons, and formations to use for soaking a charge with Skinwalkers.

That would be great. However, even small examples or responses work well. People viewing don’t feel like you have to write a novel! If we get a lot of good stuff, we can always compile it at the end.

I feel like what you want though is images to show the tactics. I can explain the theories all day, but Sentry stone placement is so case by case pictures will work best |

He is on Loswarmachine.com now but is still worth checking out. They also have a great podcast. As for a suggestion here's one I like that may be over looked: the Blackclad wayfarer charges a model, kills, then using battlewizard teleport to a flag near a shifting stone. Ideally the stone(s) will help shield the wayfarer. Obviously the wayfarer isn't using his spray or hunter's mark, which is usually why he is in the list, but it is sometimes the right move. For a more specific wolfsworn move: Grayle's tactician allows you to screen Wolves with Skinwalkers but still counterstrike with a power swell charge through them. Be sure to have Death march on the Skinwalkers to really punish. Also, vengeance attacks can be used to trigger the warwolf's sic'em. |
