Hey there Trolls. Legion player here. I often times find myself looking at other faction's stuff and saying "wow thats cool", or "man thats really good!" then looking at my faction's "version" (if you will) and saying ew. I often times nitpick things too, and talk about how bad stuff is etc. etc. However, I got to thinking... There's a saying that the grass is always greener on the other side. More than likely (not all of the time, but probably a lot), I'm looking at tools other people have, wishing I had access to them, and taking for granted things that my faction has that other people may not have.
So, I've decided to get an outside perspective from other players of different factions. What do y'all, as trollbloods players, see in Legion's stable of pieces that make you think "hey I wish I had that"?

Slipstream.
Spell martyr Lesser warbeasts to get cheap warbeast for charge of the troll's. Shepard's and Forsakens.
I think couple of months ago list have been longer, but now we have non-character reach heavy and other good stuff so we don't have to burrow them.

The Deathstalkers would be sooo sweet. To murder all the infantry forever with only 2 models...
Putting legion beasts in trolls would not be very balanced due to the stone and rage, but that sure would be broken as F.
I really like the Neraph in that it has Sprint naturally. Hit and run is not something that trolls do very well.
I also like the abundant access to ice cage. Our MAT 6 beasts really appreciate going to MAT 8, and Ice cage is a neat way to do that.

Casters: - Saeryn is excellent. All her spells are so cool. Love the control casters - Abby2 is so strong in current sr pack. I would abuse flying as a whole, but Abby is obviously better at it.
The Battle engine is amazing, like 1 is good. 2 is better. Especially with Saeryn.
Beasts wise, I love Scytheans and Carniveans. Troll beasts are good at killing heavies but most suck against infantry. Legion has beasts that are flexible but can do either job allowing your lists to be way more flexible.
Obviously we would kill for the Black Frost shard. Armour buffs and control are really strong. Plus a cheap scoring unit is always good in SR2017
Hex Hunters are pretty cool as well. Love the infantry with Magic attacks.
Raptors are some of the best cav in the game. Should never die if you play them right.
On top of that it's all the obvious stuff like Hellmouths, Spawning Vessel, Fyanna2, etc.

Do not know the names of your units well but something like this:
multiple spray attacks on a beast flight sprint animus
spell martyr
the no magic bubble (think it was a helios?)

Your character beasts are amazing. Otherwise, what everyone else said. Oh, and damage buff upkeeps. Those are super cool, too.

the no magic bubble (think it was a helios?) Hellion can do a no shooting bubble. Bloodseer has a +1 cost to magic animus it can throw up.

Just being able to maneuver, really. You rarely have to brick up. You can skirmish and attack from multiple vectors. Scenarios like Spread the Net are an opportunity for you instead of a problem.

Correction. We CANT brick up lol. that may be, but skirmishing is rely challenging for us! Thats interesting to hear. I've always found bricks to be very challenging, cause they just kinda shrug off the skirmishing attacks. Its cool to see both sides.

Bricks are our bread and butter. We are super-excited about our new units with ambush that will push things together so we can hit them with a brick. Skirmish, though, and hit and run are all but impossible for us outside of particular combinations of warlock and units. We have have one of the best ranged beasts in the game, but almost no ranged support, until this last release, anyways. Now we have two units, one of which is in each of three themes, that can support shooting. Oh, and then there if defense TROLL. the best defense we have outside of warlocks is... 13? The defense of almost everything in faction is 12.

Correction. We CANT brick up lol. Eh, Thags1 does a brick alright. Yeah I expect a brick with the new Blighted Ogres theme and a Blightbringer just like at the end of MK2. Those lists where excellent. Yes they lose 8 boxes but so did everyone.
