I'm looking to try and build a Mak2 Cats list in MOW for Christmas. Whats the best way to the list as I have never run it before?

Not sure there's a bog standard, but there are key components. Double Ferox, double Willbreaker, and Rhadiem are core components. Here's mine. I skip the PGBH, since most turns all I do is cast the Brute animus and rile Molik.
Makeda2 Jumpcats Masters of War -Molik Karn -Brute
-Ferox max(×2) -Swordsmen max+UA -Tycom (×2)
-Willbreaker (×2) -Rhadiem -Orin

This has been my list so far. It's 74pts, but I don't have a chef. Sentry can be swapped for a Glad, if that's your preference, of course. I haven't tried many other variations so far besides this, but this list has worked pretty well for me up til this point.
Supreme Archdomina Makeda - WB: +27 - Basilisk Krea - PC: 7 (Battlegroup Points Used: 7) - Molik Karn - PC: 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 19) - Titan Sentry - PC: 15 (Battlegroup Points Used: 1)
Extoller Soulward - PC: 3 Mortitheurge Willbreaker - PC: 4
Legends of Halaak - Valgesh, CIdaar & J'Deth: 8 Paingiver Beast Handlers - Leader & 3 Grunts: 5 Praetorian Ferox - Leader & 4 Grunts: 20 Praetorian Swordsmen - Leader & 9 Grunts: 13 - Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 0 Praetorian Karax - Leader & 5 Grunts: 7 Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer - Tyrant & Bearer: 0
THEME: Masters of War ---

There used to be a standard list, but that is no longer the case. I think this is the optimal configuration: conflictchamber.com/#c9201b_-0Z446r4x4y4ycvcv6yfs67676b6d6h6hSkorne Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Masters of War (Makeda 2) Supreme Archdomina Makeda [+27] - Agonizer [6] - Basilisk Krea [7] - Cyclops Brute [8] - Cyclops Brute [8] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [4] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [4] Tyrant Rhadeim [9] Legends of Halaak [8] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Praetorian Swordsmen (min) [8] - Praetorian Swordsman Officer & Standard [0(4)] Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer [0(6)] Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer [0(6)]

Skorne Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Masters of War (Makeda 2) Supreme Archdomina Makeda [+27] - Basilisk Krea [7] - Molik Karn [19] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [4] Mortitheurge Willbreaker [4] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [5] Tyrant Rhadeim [9] Legends of Halaak [8] Paingiver Beast Handlers (min) [5] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Praetorian Ferox (max) [20] Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer [0(6)] Tyrant Commander & Standard Bearer [0(6)] To my knowledge this is the optimal list inside MoW - with replacing Orin for Eilish depending on your preference.

It's different and Orin vs. Eilish is indeed a matter of preference. Here's why I don't like it. Molik is very unwieldy without pathfinder and in a list full of large bases that often want to brick up. Additionally two beasts is just too few. Once you lose one of them, Makeda is in a LOT of danger. I played him in the list earlier this year and eventually switched him out for 2 Archidons. Now that including Cetrati or Swordsmen has become a valid choice I need the points for the beast handlers elsewhere, so playing heavies makes little sense, so I went for 4 support beasts. And I don't think that's much of an issue with the punch that Legends and Swordsmen add.

One thing I want to try with my list is swapping the Sentry for a Brute and Orin, then have a couple extra points to play with.
Something I found surprisingly valuable in my list is the min unit of Karax. It’s been great running such a cheap unit up into someone’s gut as a jam, giving you a tempo advantage for you to get other parts of your force in optimal positions. Speed 7 with 2” reach at 7 points can engage a lot of more expensive things and cause your opponent to waste a lot of time and resources for a turn just to get rid of them.
