The other night I was cheerfully going to have a +16 / +16 combined ranged attack with, er, both barrels at once from each of my eight surviving Reeves when my opponent strongly disagreed that this was possible and we agreed on two +8 / +8 attacks.

I can see his point! However, my Google Fu is weak and though I'm sure that this question has been answered before, which is correct?

I'm not sure I understand where the both barrels reference is coming from, is that a special rule from somewhere else, or were you trying to make both of your shots at once? If the latter, that's definitely not an option.

Even if you could do that, the CRA rules add +1 for each model participating in the CRA, not each ranged attack.
