Hi all,
After playing convergence for a long time, i thought it time i branch out and try some other factions, specifically hordes. I've picked up some models:
Warlocks: Lylyth1 Kryssa Bethayne
Beasts: 6 Shredders Carnivean Seraph Neraph Nephilim Protector Nephilim Bolt Thrower
Solos: Succubus 3 shepherds Nyss Warlord Warmonger warchief
Units: Swordsmen + UA Warspears + UA
Is everything above ok for starting out? Are the warlocks ok to begin with? I don't see Kryssa and Beth used much? Next purchases once i've saved enough / they come up second hand will be forsakens, hellmouths or deathstalkers.
My meta includes Menoth, Cygnar, Mercenaries, Trollbloods, Skorne, Khador, and a little bit of Cryx

in a "tournament meta" you will not see any of those casters played. But that does not mean they are bad. It's just the "meta" is a community molded way of playing that those casters do not fit. That's all. For fun casual games you're fine. Bethayne would want more infantry in large games but smaller point games you've got enough. The best advice I'd like to give is just put something together and get it on the table. It's the best way to learn and have fun. If we give you a specific list that is "optimized" and you don't have the models or don't know the ins-and-outs you won't have a fun time.
An example that is completely not "optimal" but meant to teach: Lylyth could run Carnivean, Seraph, Warspears + UA, Succubus, and 2 shredders for a 35 point game. This would force you to learn fury management and making decisions based on it. Lylyth is only fury 5 but those beast could get up to 11. So you have to be wary of when/what/how you use resources. It also will let you see how the Seraph's slipstream changes how we use movement. Lylyth might slipstream up the carnivean for a charge something she shoots, then the seraph activates to slipstream Lylyth back from harm.
Also I hope you have Belphagor, you didn't list him but he is required with Bethayne.

kryssa and lylyth are the battlebox casters, so they don't do anything spectacular, but they are ok to start with. you could definitely use another heavy. consider typhon, another heavy warbeast kit, or an angelius. and definitely forsaken.

I have been having a lot of luck with pLylyth lately. She has been a blast to play and even more awesome than I thought with the right build.
War Room Army
Legion of Everblight - Azrael+Typhon 2.0
Theme: No Theme Selected 75 / 75 Army
Lylyth, Herald of Everblight - WB: +30 - Succubus - PC: 4 - Azrael - PC: 21 (Battlegroup Points Used: 21) - Nephilim Bolt Thrower - PC: 11 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Seraph - PC: 14 - Typhon - PC: 24
The Forsaken - PC: 4 Grotesque Assassin - PC: 4 Blighted Nyss Shepherd - PC: 1
Grotesque Banshees - Leader & 9 Grunts: 13 Blackfrost Shard - Sevryn, Rhylyss & Vysarr: 9
I can explain the list a little bit later after work if you are keen. The modelsecond in the list can obviously vary a little bit, but so far I am fairly set on this list
