16 pts live it as it is. I would even say 15 but I know people will complain. The point is in khador is difficult to justify a jack costing more than 13/14 points due to the wide array of cheap and cost effective jacks we already have. A expensive jack need to bring on the table very special stuff or isn't going to cut it.

I'm going to go along with either raghnath's or armchairwarrior's builds (armchair's latest build specifically).

I kinda think Point Blank would be better than Dual Attack for the Decimator as then it could use it's MAT while making melee attacks with the Dozer, but we might be getting off the topic.

Get on the Armchair train already. But...anyway, isn't point blank only to shoot things you're in melee with? Not what I want to do with the anti stealth tech.

It's even better than shooting in melee, you get to fire it as a melee attack at 0.5". If Decimator got that it'd actually be worth 16 points.

Honestly, you need to ask yourself the question; how must it be worth its points: Simply beefing up its melee abilities will run into certain issues like "what can you reasonably do with it". I think the solution is to give it more utility: Give it shield guard, give it longer ranged flares/grenades, give the grenades HE(10). Or simply lower its points a little and leave it be. Banshee is a fair comparison. It has a role. That too is an option but let's be honest, it's the most boring one!

But...anyway, isn't point blank only to shoot things you're in melee with? Not what I want to do with the anti stealth tech. I think you've misunderstood my meaning. I shall try to clarify. Dual Attack would be great for the Spriggan so you could put down flares while hitting stuff with your lance. Assault gives you part of that, but increases your overall de-stealthing range because you don't need something to be in charge range in order to charge then put down a flare. Both rules would be good for the Spriggan; Dual Attack would probably be the better of the two, not really sure. My point was that Dual Attack would not be so good for the Decimator because two unboosted non-AOE attacks at RAT 4 aren't all that useful (and if you're spending your focus on boosting attack rolls on the gun then you're getting a whole lot less done in melee), meanwhile Point Blank gives you an added MAT 7 P+S 15 melee attack (or two, not sure) with Beat-Back while in melee, making him a more respectable melee fighter. Therefore my pick for the Decimator is Point Blank.

I'm embarrassed to admit the Decimator ends up in a lot of my theoretical lists because many 'casters have 27-28 battlegroup points and I like to take a Juggernaut...
But back to the Spriggan, I like the idea of it going up in Mat to 7, gaining Sturdy and being able to use the flares while engaged or whatevers. Probably about Grolar cost? Seems good enough to consider using.

Khador really does lack a good Juggernaut "upgrade" that would fit 27-28 pts. Grolar is an upgrade of sorts, but it doesn't fit. We need a solid 15-16pt jack that doesn't feel like a juggy downgrade.

I would keep the points the same but give it gunfighter and vituoso. Mk2 torch was really lack luster except for these 2 features.

I'd like to see it with dual attack and power 10 blast damage.

Another way to go with the spriggan is let it naturally have boundless charge, that make the spear charge impactful.
Also I wouldn't mind if they increased the base strength of the chassis by 1 or 2. That way you are more tempted to do two hand throws with the other classes and risk opening them up
