Different take on trollbloods. Gold/bronze armor with an emerald theme going on. Not sure how I feel about it yet, any thoughts?? Would a whole army with this bright color look obnoxious?

Looks fine to me. If the gold is too much for you, it can be turned down with more shading / washes to dull it a bit.
Personally I think the emerald is a bit close to the trollblood skin, but also slightly different. It creates a bit of a jarring effect, though admit it might look different in person

I use more of a seafoam, pasty teal for the skin instead of the original blueish skin tones for the trolls. If it helps it is the same exact tone as madrak shown above. Do you think that skin tone clashes too much with the emerald?
What other colors can I use to match in place of the emerald?

The scheme looks nice! Just wash the gold parts a bit (Gryphonne Sepia?) and finish the base and this troll is good to go! Maybe some delicate wash or highlight on skin is a thing to consider in addition to the above.

I really don't like the colour you've chosen for the skin; it looks kind of "clammy", like a fish. Or the undead. The strong green colour of the cloth might be making it look worse. Ignoring the skin, the cloth and armour look fine.
If I was in your place and I wanted teal skin, I think I would try something more saturated then go for a blue or purple cloth (if I was in the mood to experiment I might even try something bolder, like bright orange).

Well, the model is supposed to be an albino of a non-human race, so odd skin color is to be expected.

Well, the model is supposed to be an albino of a non-human race, so odd skin color is to be expected. Ah, I didn't realise that he's an albino. That explains the choice to use such a desaturated colour. Nevertheless, I feel it would look better with a different colour replacing the strong green used for the cloth. My instinct would be to try purple... although "purple" seems to be my answer to a lot of questions these days...

Yeah he is the only one that is that weird color. The rest of my army is actually grey skinned (as to not clash with the armor/cloth!)
I will post pics when i get home =]
Thanks for the feedback so far everyone!

I'd like to see the other models because his skin seems a bit dark for an albino. It looks pretty good regardless!
