For people not on Facebook/Twitter that may not have seen this, it looks like Chiron is going to be available at Adepticon: That means we should see some rules soon!

On the one hand yay! On the other hand, whoopdie doo. I'll certainly be happy to know his rules, but I'm neither excited for the base rules (as I expect he'll be made of paper, tied as he is to the Basilisk chasis), the bond (because Xekaar just isn't good), or the model (which is uninspired). I'm whelmed.

I'm hoping for good things from Chiron (not expecting him to grant assault to basilisks as others have hypotheticated, though it'd be neat).
Xekaar apparently ain't getting that arc node though, so he stays unbuilt on the shelf.

Much more excited about the Dakar.
But, if Chiron is competitively costed and has a interesting Animus, there is a chance!

Here's hoping for Wraithbane! Would like him to have at least 14/16, but not counting on it tbh - basilisk stats being what they are : \ Wouldn't mind them putting the basilisks in CID, just so we can get them to up their armour. Haven't seen many lights with abysmal defensive stats like them

I would announce my gloom and doom and supposed disappointment in Chiron, but I did that with Zaadesh2 and they knocked him out of the park. And then the Skorne eretta happened. I will say Drakes are pretty lackluster in my opinion, but that's because I had one miss three boosted 8's in a row last night on the same turn.

I'm unconvinced about Chiron with the info we have right now. I hope the rules will change my mind. Pls spoilers

For those of us who are poor, mind spilling the beans on battle college?

SPD6, MAT6, RAT6, Fury 4, DEF12, ARM18, CMD8, 19 points, and he's classified as a Character Drake. Gaze is SP10, POW15, Inflict Pain, Assault. P+S16 Bite, 2 P+S14 claws, all RNG1. Animus is Counterblast. Bond is boosted spray attack rolls. * Action Dig In, Leadership Basalisks (remove a fury).
4 initial attacks on a charge is pretty good. Xerxis2 goes really well with him with his field marshall and Ignite.

Oh boy, not sure about that one. 19 points is a no go for me - why would I take him when I can have Molik or Despoiler for that price.

Chiron does a lot of things, and for casters who like those things he'll do fine. He is no where close to auto include like Eye of Truth, but that's okay.

As a Legion player dropping by this section, He seems interesting. I think he's best used leveraging his boosted sprays to clear out infantry. This ties him too Xekaar who is apparently bad, so I don't know how that'll go.

It's corner case, but between Chiron's Spray, Xekaar's feat, and Agonizer Cry, you can really mess with Fury.
