I suppose I better have a place for my house rules on this site huh? Since a lot of my earlier rules were broken as utter hell, I won't copy and paste them here.
Today's flavor of homebrew is my Journeyman Warcaster from a campaign a while back, all grown up.
Mikhail, the Steel Demon

Steel Demon: Fire effect damage rolls in MIkhail's control area are boosted.
Weapons
Iron Claw: RNG 1, POW 8, P+S 15
- Iron Grip: Enemy models hit with this weapon suffer -2 DEF and cannot advance for one round.
Heavy Flamethrower: RNG SP8, POW 16, ROF 1, AOE -
- Continuous Effect: Fire, Damage Type: Fire
Spells
Overdrive - COST 3, RNG SELF, AOE CTRL, DUR TURN, OFF NO. Warjacks in spellcaster's battlegroup gain +2 SPD AND STR but suffer 1 damage to their cortex at the end of their activations. Warjacks without a functioning cortex are not affected by Overdrive.
Incinerate - COST 2, RNG 8, AOE -, DUR TURN, OFF NO. Target friendly faction warjack gains Continous Effect Fire.
Reconstruct
Feat - Apocalypse
All models currently in his currently in his control range suffer Continuous Effect: Fire. Models in his battlegroup can charge a model suffering from Continuous Effect: Fire without spending focus. Apocalypse lasts for one round.
The idea behind this guy was actually from an IKRPG group I was a part of, where we all played Khadoran journeyman warcasters that reported directly to Supreme Kommandant Irusk and the Empress. My character was an Field Mechanic trained by both Strakhov and Butcher, and it shows in his playstyle - he plays very far forward and pushes his jacks to the limit, to the point of damage.
As well as Mikhail, we have his character jack which is basically the jack in my profile pic.

Flare Cloud (Action): Center a 4" AOE on Vernyy. All models in the AOE suffer Continuous Fire. The AOE is a cloud that stays in place for one round. Models entering or ending their activations in the AOE suffer the Continuous Fire effect.
