For the last week or so I've been playing a really janky Lylyth1 list because I'm waiting on the rest of my Legion models, so the only Legion models I actually have are the old Mk2 battlebox, a bolt thrower, and Legionnaires+UA. So I've been running
Lylyth1 -Carnivian -Bolt Thrower Wrong eye & Snapjaw Rorsh & Brine Feralgeist Brigands + UA Legionnaires + UA Swamp Gobbers
The weird thing is that it's actually working better than I expected. Everything except the legionnaires which is proving what I've been reading about them on the forums. So for those of you who are running Lylyth1 as your anti-armor what kinds of lists are you running with her, and what do you find she generally struggles with? I had an issue with Baldur2's woldwrath since I couldn't put parasite on it, but that's the only issue I've had so far.

I've been trying her in RoW theme lately, as mostly a Circle-drop (have a few Circle players in my meta).
Lylyth1 (RoW Theme) -Angelius -Angelius -Seraph -Bolt Thrower -Protector Forsaken Forsaken (free) Annyssa Ryvaal Raptors (min) Grotesque Banshees
The list provides quite excellent speed and hitting power (when parasite is applicable). My biggest struggle is proper placement of Lylyth to be aggressive enough but not put her in a vulnerable position. I have won on scenario with her and assassinated a few casters. But mostly, I just lose her due to the placement conundrum. I will say that Banshees make a credible threat to enemy casters, especially Wurmwood. Brain damage is no joke, and I've actually gotten it on Wurmwood before; it not being able to cast for a turn is a pretty big deal.

Circle drop without Naga and dmg buff based on offensive spell ? You may have some problems with Baldur2 with Worldwrath. Lylyth1 can crank armor but problems occur when you face spell immune models or 10000 shield guards so with mark+parasite is not working as intended.

So we'd be looking at Convergence, Ret in theme, some Skorne lists. Anything else?

The Templar is a staple warjack with Beatback and Shield Guard. Devouts have Shield Guard. Blessing Of Vengeance, which shows up in every Severius list, has it. Rhoven's bodyguards have it.

What's the best way to work around that just shoot everything else first or just don't drop Lylyth into something with a lot of shield guards?

Generally you're better off not playing shooting-focused lists into Protectorate. The Naga makes it more workable than it would otherwise be but it's still rough because of how many Shield Guards are in Faction. Personally I prefer playing more melee-focused lists into Protectorate. Abby2, Fyanna2, Thags1 and similar.
