privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/insider-08-31-2017New Convergence of Cyriss theme revealed: - Allows all casters and Vectors, all priest model/units and any construct units with the Soul Vessel rule
FA:4 Enigma Foundries
- Advanced Move for units with Shield Wall
- Vengeance for medium-based units
- free solo or command attachment per 20 points of units
I don't know much about CoC, but looks like a decent infantry theme with strong recursion.

So no servitors or TEP? I'm not sure this is going to be strong initially, just because Cryx is rocking recursion themes so you'll already have tech against it.

Trollbloods and Retribution themes aren't affected. Lots of strait RFP isn't affected. Snacking, Carnivore, Vault, some spells and abilities are affected, but at least half of all RFP is still functional. That's plenty.

Its kinda looking a gift horse in the mouth since undead became a much smaller advantage between editions yet construct still is.

I like the look of it, it fixes all the most of the problems with CoC infantry -- slow and really only limited recursion possibilities with the MK3 Enigma Foundries.
Granted the TEP is an excellent piece, but it's not mandatory. And I believe that you are only seeing so many servitors now because of the Destruction Initiative theme - You get them for free and they have Shield Guard. Most of the time, the servitors in the DI lists are doing a lot of what you want infantry for (jamming, contesting, etc).
I'm just glad I didn't sell my extra 2 foundries when MK3 hit.

I'm not saying it isn't nice. It lets you play with your gear-dude-mans and not feel like your automatically losing. I'm sure it'll even be good. I'm just saying it won't bend the meta in the way Destruction Initiative did when it dropped. You could NOT play two different flavors of gunline into that, so it changed the tournament landscape. This is not that. I don't think it's a dud, it just isn't in the list of very powerful themes.

The leader model removing rfp is also much less effective against this list.
