Man khador should have really upped their extermination efforts.
Or searched harder for jetpacks.

That's really cool! We can get some real steam-punky alchemical jetpackery going. So far, I approve of this faction.

Exciting! I'm looking forward to seeing more elite, modern looking units. And a limited faction means I'm more likely to look at it as a secondary faction.

I'm happy ord finally gets to fight bit I'm a bit worried about the potential of faction bloat

They've had some interactions with the BRI; in particular they've got an ongoing rivalry with Eilish. Fluff does mention some of the crucible guard continuing to fight with the resistance (also for the protectorate) and supply them with weapons/powder. Commander Alexander Gaul is a potential leader. Guns often have alchemical bullets (fire, explosive, rust).

I'm happy ord finally gets to fight bit I'm a bit worried about the potential of faction bloat I figure as long as each new faction from here onwards has a unique rule (arcana, induction, monstrocity), then we'll be fine. Happily, the crucible models we've seen have a pretty new aesthetic we haven't seen in IK before (not much anyway. I can definitely see Gorman coming from these guys). I think we'll see some really cool jack designs. Probably some flyers, burrowers, aquatics, stuff like that. Maybe they'll have a lot of cortex boxes distributed evenly along the grid to represent the quality. I think we can expect a ton of gas mask and true sight. Lots of elemental damage and immunities. I think it will carve out its own identity.

Oh i really like the WWI meets Rocketeer vibe on those rocketmen. Very much digging Crucible Guard and LLaelese resistance ideas. Good stuff, lots of it, from this keynote. Feels like PP found their creative footing that i'm used to again. Also, tanks. Fuq yeah.

Think the Llaelese mercs will have Partisian [Golden Crucible]? I imagine they're still allies in the fluff with the common enemy of Khador.

More importantly, we may finally get a Toro warjack model.

All the hype about tanks makes me wonder whether they will get warjacks at all. They fill a similar role. Add in the fact that each limited release faction to date has a twist on a core rule (Induction, Arcana), I suspect not.
Maybe Crucible Guard replaces warjacks with tanks. They are still battlegroup models, but don't need Focus. Warcasters still have a feat as normal. It does seem strange, given the shift in MKIII with Power Up, but unless the tanks are Battle Engines, I don't see why warjacks would coexist.

I am interested in the new faction. But we will have to wait and see what the models look like and the rules.
I also hope that PP get on and address known issues with other factions before these arrive.

I'm pretty surprised that we aren't seeing a Zu faction next. But bringing Ord into the fight after so long is pretty nice. It finishes up the representation of the different Iron Kingdoms nicely. I like the mini factions. It gives PP a chance to round out the setting, and offers something really, really new each year. Hopefully it will keep stuff fresh. I also like how transparent they are about explaining to their customers that these factions are limited releases and are not likely to get new models. To me that transparency is a big deal. One of my biggest issues with that other company is they advertise and introduce new factions but make you think they will update and release things for those factions over time. Much to the disappointment of their fanbase. It's why I don't buy their products much anymore. I thought the Circle were he first human magic users. Just the super crazy hippy version. I know nothing about the crucible guard though, they sound awesome.
