Not the worse looking model but not the best. I hope that he comes with an extra head without the helmet, but I kinda doubt it. I hope he comes with 2 helmets He'll never use the second.

I hope he comes with 2 helmets He'll never use the second. But he'll use the second crossbow. I was just gonna put both helmets on like he was a two headed giant or something.

The gade model is achingly boring. It's unlikely to be distinguishable from another errant bar the oversized crossbow situation... but "protectorate" so creativity and interesting need not apply to mediocre town.

We will just have to see if his rules make him worth the buy. I'm sure his model is gonna get moded a lot. Heck I bet some thrifty players will convert a normal ee to be him.

Mat 7, Rat7, double cross bow, magic, blessed.
Provides pathfinder to errants
Has prey, true sight.
Five points, fairly good deal for him. I can see how he's murderously good in company of iron.
In terms of full warmachine he's certainly something to be excited about, and will hopefully pull my lists away from relying on vindictus.

So we have MKII errants once again ... just really really expensive and the spell immunity only lasts one turn.
Full Errants - 16pts - UA - 4pts - Ruhpert - 4pts - Gravus (no Knockdown) - 9pts - Gade - 5pts
That's 38pts! Possibly 33 if you take Gade for free. Tack on a second unit of errants and double down! That actually seems reasonable if you're running double errants but its a tough sell if only running one unit.

I don't tend to have space to run double errants in my exemplar lists, that tends to go to the proper damage dealers, like Knights and vengers. Any errant of mine that survives past second turn is a lucky errant.

I do not think I would take Gravus and Ruhpert for the soul purpose of giving errants Togh/no knockdown. In my exemplar list they are fodder anyways... (though I want to try this out now... just to see...) The Knights tend to do the heavy lifting. That's just me though.

Tough no knockdown with defender's ward is a pretty damn good place to be. If the change to unyielding goes through were it applies to any melee attack against the model regardless of engagement status then the seneschal will definitely be worth it. Strictly speaking to my post though he's not required to mimic the MKII effects

Prey and two shots makes him a decent solo hunter and Ldr[PF] lets us hide Errants in terrain again for DEF16+. He's okay, assuming that you've already accepted that you have to buy into the full boat.

He can be singled out with his not so stellar stats, but he seems to be a really solid solo. A very good hunter of other lower armor solos too, like Eiryss.

One thing to note is that Elias only gives Errant models in his command range pathfinder, not units. edit: I like the rules overall, but regabond raises a good point on the next page.
