I've been playing minions for about a month now, and the other day a former PG from my area that plays minions, was watching a game. I feated with Arkadius, and he interrupted and told me that Arkadius' feat over rules the frenzy rules.
His example was when I choose my frenzy target, I get to treat that frenzy essentially like a charge. Meaning I do not have to move directly at the model until I am b2b or at max distance, that I can "frenzy at an angle to avoid other models to land engaging the enemy model.
I am skeptical of this and could not find a ruling, any one have a ruling on this or is it completely false.

You follow the frenzy rules as normal except when the feat specifically says otherwise, i.e. choosing the target rather than the closest model.

Gaston is right. The only thing, that is overruled is that you choose the target, afterwards you have to follow the regular frenzy rules!
