I was playing around today with Kharchev and came up with a list that got me tickled. I'd like to have dissected and tell me why it's a bad idea. I have a feeling it is, but I think it asks a pretty serious question.
War Room Army
Khador - Kharchev's Heavy Metal
Theme: Jaws of the Wolf 4 / 4 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Karchev the Terrible - WJ: +30 - Conquest - PC: 37 (Battlegroup Points Used: 30) - Conquest - PC: 37 - Kodiak - PC: 13
Greylord Forge Seer - PC: 0 - Kodiak - PC: 13 Greylord Forge Seer - PC: 0 Manhunter - PC: 0 Widowmaker Marksman - PC: 0
Battle Mechaniks - Leader & 5 Grunts: 5
THEME: Jaws of the Wolf ---
GENERATED : 06/11/2017 20:33:41 BUILD ID : 2042.17-05-22
The basic idea for this list is everything except the kodiaks runs first turn and the kodiaks vent steam in front of everything else. The marksman is for solos, CA's, and WA's or anywhere he plink some damage. The manhunter is for running down troublesome solos. The goal of the Kodiaks is to vent steam, run interference for the models behind them and to throw the stuff they can't handle into the conquests melee range. I don't how this would handle on the field but I think it would be a total hoot to play! It's the first list that has gotten me interested in playing Kharchev.

Well, there is the obvious problem that none of Karchevs spells do anything for your list

Why wouldn't Road to War and Battle-Charged work? 😳Is it because they are colossals?

Found it. Colossals can advance only during normal movement. What a shame, now I've lost interest in both Kharchev and Conquest.

Just take all of your 10-14 point jacks and get them all on the table. Karchev is awesome. Your list would work OK with Harkevich. The problem with double colossal lists is everything dies easy in this game. Hark fixes that. I've played a similar list to this vs Wormwood and it has game. War Room Army Theme: Jaws of the Wolf 4 / 4 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army Kommander Harkevich, The Iron Wolf - WJ: +28 - Kodiak - PC: 13 - Kodiak - PC: 13 - Conquest - PC: 37 (Battlegroup Points Used: 28) - Conquest - PC: 37 Greylord Forge Seer - PC: 0 Greylord Forge Seer - PC: 0 Manhunter - PC: 0 Manhunter - PC: 0 Battle Mechaniks - Leader & 3 Grunts: 3 THEME: Jaws of the Wolf --- GENERATED : 06/12/2017 10:20:55 BUILD ID : 2042.17-05-22

That's quite a cool list! I do have a question though, why two manhunters and no marksman?

More specifically, the list does not want for lack of shooting. It doesn't need a Marksman per se. You could easily drop a manhunter for the dog.

Interesting. I'll mull this over. I like Harkevich way more than Kharchev anyways.

Well, Harkevich with two Conquests should be okay
