If Cygnar got a bunker I figure we'll get a portapotty. It lets you place D3 AK's (the cleaners) every turn and if destroyed turns into the Bog of Eternal stench that is a 8" AOE that makes the model/unit affected take a command check or run away. 😜

I am very excited for a massive artillary piece. However, I'm starting to get upset with more and more models getting immunity to blast. If we do get a big-shell-lobbing-cannon, we need rules negating the "immune to blast" rules. This could be done with the trend of added rules starting to crop up, for example: 1. AOE's being difficult terrain; 2. Flares negating stealth; 3. AOE's causing fire damage; 4. AOE's reducing DEF. I'm just not certain whether the "immune to blast" also negates the added rules? Overall I'm happy with where PP is taking the game. It adds new and fun dynamics to the game

That said givin the Artillery officer something like Action: shrapnell Ammunition to ignore blast immunity could make him better again. Oh and the Blockhouse costs 14 Points

Instead of "Shrapnel Ammunition" just write "Things in the AOE take ____ ____ Damage" that way its not blast damage.

We know the Druids are getting a bloodspattered Gazzebo that ports around leaving forests in it's wake. More serious talk. Structure "usually" implies something that does not move. - Does that mean all structures must shot (spells or ranged attacks)? - If it's not shooting at least twice as much as the blockhouse what can it do apart from a recursion/creation mechaniq?

Rough terrain and cloud type effects is my guess for Khador. What would be pretty cool would be the AK grenade effect that actually acted like a real AOE, and didn't have to be reliant on directly hitting. I've always struggled with that rule. It seemed needlessly complicated.

Start the game with one small-or-medium-based unit deployed inside the structure, then the can pop out any time during the game? Like ambush but next to the bunker instead of from the sides of the table?

I think the Blockhouse is way too cheap for what it brings. Outside of the cost though, I think it's a mostly a "building-ier" Siege Crawler. How much does that thing cost again? For my factions, as previously mentioned, there's the obligatory Porta-Church®, but I can also see maybe a Menoth's Fury refinery? For Legion, I recall there being a Super-Spawning Vessel in a NQ at some point. Another possibility is a Morrdhic tower of arcane lore or maybe a giant dragon skeleton. The Siege Crawler is down to 17 pt. in the last version of the CID (looks like that point cost will stick). Also, I thought those GF-9 structures were very cool . Too pricey dollar-wise for me when they came out, though.

Overall, i think it's a bit silly to have structures for every faction. Let's pretend that they are good, does it makes sense that two opposing structures are a few dozen yards apart in a good number of games?

Probably not every faction, but I bet it wouldn't be hard to justify. CoC could have something that moves at SPD 1 instead of being completely immobile. Some floating command center thing. You could also have temporary structures thrown up right before the battle. That would make sense for most of the Hordes factions.

Designing them to look like temporary structures could even work form Khador. Imagine a MoW structure that looks like a bunch of heavy steel plates the MOWs carried out like huge shields and then hammered into the ground. Bam, temporary bunker.

But Man O war don't need a temporary bunker, they are the bunker

The temporary bunker is for the AK's following behind the MOW's. Kind of like the way the Marines go in first and the Army follows . . . 😂
