I'd be down for a super buff, almost naked Punchy Monk.

If they thought that they had enough female (or appropriately interested males) players to buy exclusive miniatures and make a tidy profit I'm sure they'd have a sexy stripper Amon exclusive. I think the problem is their demographic or how they survey their demographic. Why does an exclusive model have to be a sexualized one?

Well the lock and load miniature is sexualied and some people are complaining about. As long as we're sexualizing things might as well have equal opportunity sexualizing

As long as we're sexualizing things might as well have equal opportunity sexualizing So if we look at the exclusive models listed in the SR document: Male: Kilt lifter, Gorman di 'Sea' Wulfe, Gobber Drudge Female: Druid gone wilder, Bombardier Bombshell, Steelsoul Keg Protector, Blighted Bather, Blindwater Brew Witch Doctor, Brute Thrall - Femme Fatale I mean, do I even have to say more. None of the male models are sexualized and all of the female except the Steelsoul protector is. And now we add one more to the list. No specific model in themselves are very aggregious, its just when you see it as a whole that it gets disgusting.

A friend of mine talked to Doug Hamilton about it, and they did say that their primary design inspiration for the L&L Exclusives were WWII-era pin ups. Doing a quick google search, Rinny and all the other exclusives are pretty tame compared to some pin-ups.
Mind you, I'm all in for a buff dude as an L&L Exclusive, but they are following a recognized art trend.
Oh, also you forgot the Hollow Man Beefeater that was a Smogcon exclusive.

Umm, guys. Reinholdt is obviously a male in the fluff. Don't shame him for how he wants to dress. If Rinny wants to feel sexy, who are we to object?

Yeah it comes down to the difference between other exclusives and lock and load exclusives. The lock and load ones are always sexual. Im glad reinholt is discovering herself.

I'm of the opinion that complaining about sexualization is a purely manufactured problem by controversy hucksters and reinforced in the culture long enough to not be questioned.
I have seen more scandalous wear, from women in protest marches. Relax people, its all in good fun.

And sea wolf wasn't an exclusive in the way the others are. Gooby drudge may not be sexy but it's pure fan service to those gobber lovers that are everywhere.

There are more exclusive models, these ones are just the ones listed in the SR document.

You can put them into the list in your head if you think it will help any argumentation. Those models also just cement my point. And as I also mentioned, no one model in particular is aggregious in any way. As you say, the pin-up artform is one of many artforms. But why must all the female models be portrayed that way when the male ones are not? This is what is disgusting, not the particular model itself.

I believe it's going to be in the SR2017 document as Thagrosh1. ( if you are signed up for CID, you can see that here)
