It's actually the hull of a warjack refitted for him by loyal mechaniks once in his service. And to correct you some more. I believe it is also a berserker warjack. But could you imagine PS19 CMA Iron Fangs under Last Stand.

ooh, what's your recipe for that black? I'm trying a black color scheme for my new army after I sold old Khador but its just coming out grey.
Ummm, yeah... Here is where I admit just how much of an "Old Skewl" kind of guy that I am. Then again, I've been painting miniatures for 30+ years.
The black I used is Testor's Model Master Flat Black enamel (Black FS37038 - Flat). That stuff is BLACK with really good coverage - it makes the P3 Thamar Black look a little bit like a very very dark grey.
After I painted the model I did a clear coat of Testor's semi-gloss. I use the semi-gloss because it protects the model with all of the handling it gets from being a game piece, yet it doesn't have that "I'm Glossy!!!" look, except for maybe in pictures by a guy who doesn't know how to do studio-quality pictures.
In the last year or so I have been experimenting and using the P3 stuff more and more. P3 has been really good for the non-military colors and whites, reds, & yellows that have really good coverage. I have also become a huge fan of the Armor wash, flesh wash, and inks.

Reminds me when I painted my old 40k Space Marines with Tamiya Flat Black.
I basically had stealth fighter space marines.

@ Blargaliscious
I totally get where you are coming from with your Paint choices, I have used Testor's Model Masters paints since the late 80's for all my minis. From Battletech, AD&D, to todays Warmachine and Flames of War, all my models are covered in Enamel. I find the paint jobs last a lot longer. And as long as you let the paint set abit, (I have a habit of holding a model while still tacky) it keeps a rich deeper color on the model. If you use an airbrush, it lays a nice thin, but strong coat on your minis.
I salute your continued use of the original way to paint your minis.

A fellow member of the dying art, - Da Muppet Thank you, I appreciate that. I still have a lot of my Battletech miniatures, sold all of my Star Fleet Battles minis years ago.
I have to say that the P3 stuff is the only water-based stuff that I have tried that has anywhere near the smoothness and thinness of enamels. Admittedly, I haven't really tried that many water-based paints over the years. While the P3 stuff is good, I'm not dropping my Testors stuff anytime soon.
Here's to you, keep the faith brother!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go drink my nightly fiber drink, take my dentures out, complain about all of my aching joints, and go watch Matlock reruns.
Well, ok, maybe not...

Blargaliscious you are showing your age, if you were truly old you would have said you going to watch Quincy. If you were ancient it would Perry Mason, and if you were farting dust it would be Bonanza! 😂

Blargaliscious you are showing your age, if you were truly old you would have said you going to watch Quincy. If you were ancient it would Perry Mason, and if you were farting dust it would be Bonanza! 😂 I remember watching episodes of Quincy, and while Jack Klugman was good in that, I liked him better in the Odd Couple with Tony Randle. What little Perry Mason I ever saw was as boring as watching the grass grow. Bonanza wasn't violent enough for my tastes. (Too many cows and horses, not enough warjacks!) I'm really not that old, but I do remember TV before there was cable when *I* was the TV remote control for my parents.
