So I might go out on a limb and say it has 'something' to do with Iron Fangs "Iron Maiden" Iron Fang Solo. A man can dream. So, the Iron Maiden song "The Trooper" is based off of the British "Charge of the Light Brigade" that happened during the Crimean War with Russia.
The Light Brigade was a cavalry unit.
The Iron Fang Uhlans are cavalry.
She looks like a Iron Fang of some kind.
So, you're saying that she is going to be an Iron Fang Uhlan character of some kind? Kovnik Markov's future wife?
Hey, people put dots out there, I connect them. You're welcome...

It's Black Dragon Uhlans with Character CA. Is that a confirmed thing or just your speculation?

It's Black Dragon Uhlans with Character CA.
Since I already have my 2nd unit of Uhlans painted up as Black Dragons, complete with Uhlan shaped Black Dragon shields, it looks like I am way ahead of the curve on that possibility.
(Yes, they do look completely baller, thank you for asking.)
Considering that PP just spoiled that they are going to greatly increase the breadth of the Trencher range with the next CID, and that they are going the route of making the theme forces factions within factions, I think that they are going to do the same thing with the Iron Fangs. The last time that they did an article on the Iron Fangs in NQ (Guts and Gears?) they mentioned that there were a lot of Iron Fang support troops and other options. Also with the talk about how Siege is a "Trencher warcaster" and that some of the other casters were related to the Trenchers in some way or another, I can see that PP would need to expand the stable of Iron Fang casters.
And I have to say that having a female Iron Fang caster would be a giant pile of hot awesomeness. On a scale of 1 to 10, that would be bacon.

Except the Light Brigade was a British unit. The Russians were the ones holding the cannons. Therefore, she is an Iron Fang Artillery Character unit. Or maybe an Iron Fang Uhlan Black Dragon. That would be cool.

Then I thought how cool it would look to have a diorama of a bunch of Stormlances charging into hundreds of WG Mortars and WG Field Gun crews.
I'm still sticking to her being an Iron Fang warcaster.

Screw the Trenchers and Cygar in general! I know it doesn't add to the conversation, but it needed to be said! My point was only that it wouldn't be unprecedented for us to have a second Iron Fang solo. Less likely to be a UA since both units have UAs already (unless it's an Uhlan UA?), could be a warcaster but that seems a little unlikely to me since we just got Strak 2 (and because warcasters tend to be released in groups)?

My money's on Black Dragon character solo, but at this point it could be a Mercenary or somehow a Grymkin model for all I know. I really want some love for the Black Dragons though. They're still good, but most of the time I'm having trouble finding room for them when I can get regular Pikemen for cheaper, especially with Legion of Steel.

Great minds think alike- I recently picked up some Uhlans that I'm painting as Black Dragons. Did you get the Black Dragon shield set from the online store?
If not, I encourage you to do that! The Uhlans look so much better if they have the shields than if you just paint them black. I was hesitant at first to modify the shields to be the same shape as the Uhlan shields, but once I started using small hobby nibblers, a half-moon hobby file, and some fine-grit sand paper they were super easy to modify.
For the inside curve I used the nibblers to cut just below the main part of the shield and then make a second cut to the side of the centerline. Leave enough material so that when you file the cut edges with the half-moon file you have enough material to have flat sides and a nice inside curve.
For the outside curve I used the nibblers to cut off the lower outside corner of the shield and then used the file to get to roughly where the curve should start and end. Then I dragged the shield across the fine-grit sandpaper, rotating the shield as I dragged it, to finish off the curve to match the Uhlan shield.
You then have 7 more Black dragon shields for other conversions. I used one of them to make one of my Iron Fang Kovniks into a Black Dragon Iron Fang Kovnik (he paints up so nice in black and gold) and then I used another as a left hand buckler on a Juggernaut to make an Iron Fang Juggernaut. For the Juggernaut, get a pair of old Destroyer shoulder spikes from the online store for the shoulders and it looks just like a giant axe-wielding Black Dragon warrior. I then took another shield, ground down the sides and the back to be a flat-backed lozenge with just the dragon and put it in the center of a Spriggan shield to make a Black Dragon Spriggan. They both painted up surprisingly nice in black and gold.
I'm saving the rest for future conversions. If I can get a 2nd Kovnik Markov for cheap I'll make a Black Dragon version of him. Otherwise I can't think of any other good conversion targets. Do you guys have any suggestions?
