I was more thinking about a personal story or two rather than a sales pitch. On another note: I feel like shit, had to put our (parents' but I took care of her parttime ever since I left the house) dog to sleep. Girl made it to 13, she's really been a good girl and now I'm gonna miss her so dogganm much.
*edit*
Heh, stupid profanity filter.

Oh. Well, I just figured a link to the rules would save time. Long story short: I just really like the simplified terrain rules compared to WM, and the freedom one can find thanks to the ladders/elevators and the jumping rules, especially. That opens up battlefields that are simply impossible in Warmachine.

I look forwards to some photos of painted models W:NM models in the gallery forum. And maybe even some battle reports? Let's get some life back into this forum!

I haven't received anything like that, wondering if I should be expecting it. It would be useful; lately the local post has been getting real spotty, and tracking numbers have been a big deal.

PP also sent a note out about variant A Scourges outside the ones in the starter being missing from the order and stuff like stretch goal rewards being packed inside the starter box to save space, but the shipping invoice is fairly vague so I'm not really sure what exactly I've got coming in this shipment. There doesn't seem to be any indication of which variants models are and the Wave 2 heroes aren't mentioned at all, but I've got Raxis and the Nemesis coming at some point later anyway so it's probably fine.

You’re international, right? Privateer is still waiting for the shipment to arrive in England for the international orders to ship. (Check out Kickstarter; Matt Wilson answers a lot of these questions in the comments.)

The Kickstarter updates address this. Basically, the heroes and heavy jacks ship in wave 2, as do the “weapon pack B” weapon packs, variant light warjacks, and the extra Scourge A’s that got left out of shipments in wave 1. As for the “sketchy email” — well, that appears to be the United States Postal Service’s doing.

I know international orders haven't shipped yet, I just couldn't remember if any mention had been made of shipping notifications. So yesterday I put in an order with GreenStuffWorld to take advantage of their 10% off sale. Then I forgot to actually use the discount code... The code is "SUMMER10" btw, valid until the 31st.
My brain has seriously been barely functional the last few days. Luckily we have next week off, so maybe I'll actually manage to get some rest. Maybe even do some painting. Maybe.

I am very excited by the addition of 80mm bases to Warcaster. I think that opens up model possibilities that were unavailable before, due to either having to reside on a 50mm or 120mm base.
