Mmm.. no, Raluk can't marshal gunbunnies.
Besides, I don't see how he could get powerful shot for free ;(

ChocoI was giving my thoughts on bastion/Lifebound, but by all means please try out other combinations. If you focus on the granted Shieldguard ability , a multi-wound high-armor unit as target does make sense after all.

Bastions are an expensive unit (not good for collectif souls) and a frontline unit, (not good for Shield guard and obviously more vulnerable to close range rfp effect and dispel effects). So my first thought would be they are not really a good target for Lifebound, sorry ;(
And because of Ghost fleet, many many lists actually have rfp or dispel mechanisms (Eilish, anyone?), so you will actually have very few good matchups that let you benefit Lifebound on your bastions.
Prefer disposable models, if possible with recursion. Like zealot as already advised. (In Irregular, i am thinking min unit of highshield or forgeguard with the BE)

At the moment Fiona + commodore is my go against Cryx. I agree that most of the time Rockbottom is overkill, but I take him just to enable the casterkill. For example Denny1 is def 16, the commodore would need 8s to hit, or 6s with rockbottom. Without the dwarf, i would probably not even try.

Good and cheap unit for scoring and contesting, especially with wind barrier. And yeah... the cloud removal is really good. I wonder if it could remove the dense fogs of dark host theme..。

I guess with connie you just pack lots of dorfs, steelhead and precursors units and rush them to the front, feat and profit.
Now that's a bit simplistic.
Personally I would mostly focus on her crusader call, taking fast units to get super long charge ranges (Nyss, eliminators, SH cav ?...). Feat is nice but better not count on it, since it's too easy to get around it.

I just did yesterday : No specific issues with them. Each arm can be independent if you wish, so no sweat.

Croe is the leader without being an officer. I don't think RFP could prevent you to elect the next guy to be the new leader, unless I missed something?
Thx for the tip: aim to compensate the low RAT then reposition. Work best with snipe or death March. (If no aiming then use calamity or affliction?)

I recently acquired the Croes unit and wonder how you guys are playing them, or what kind of synergy you found out with this unit ?

Just a note, I read on battle report that the SA trampled in and then proceed to shoot stuff. Is that possible ? If trampling, it should have lost all its initial attacks, including the ranged ones. At best we can buy additional melee attacks, but ranges attack i think that's not possible

Just to clarify: Alexia1 collects corpse tokens, not soul tokens. So if you kill a soulless -but living- model, she still get a new risen the following turn. With that said, it is good to know about her ability in SR2017. I will try her out

Quicken and diversionary tactic already give 18" threat range to the pig. Add hunter and you get 20" ...
But normally you don't need Lanyssa. If the caster is 20" away, he is usually also too far for Lanyssa's Hunter mark. If he is less that 18", then you don't need her (Brine already charges for free with pain response, if needed shoot Brine, then let Rorsh heal it -but not completely- before diversionary)
The wins I got with Ashlynn were with the Ninja pig assassination move. All of them, 100%. Pigs and Gibbs are both auto-include for me

Haha, i guess it was Hunan beef. Anyway, hot meal is nice, but really, Reposition and Feign Death for Ashlynn is unvaluable and dramatically increase her chance of survival. In mk2, one of Ashlynn's main weakness was how easy it was to assassinate her by Knocking her down. Gibbs just solved this. And now she can cast distraction 10" away (Silys) then Reposition 3".

"Easy button" armies are just this : easy to play. On the other side of the spectrum, some units are overcosted or difficult to play or niche. Does it mean they are "bad" ? They have cons, no one missed that, but also pros, and one has to work harder to get results with them. Tucker is right. Playstyle can provide the niche that those units need. (Guys, mercs were famous for thinking out of the box, let's keep it that way.) Personally, I plan to test the high shield with Ashlynn & quicken. spd6 def 13 arm19 ought to be descent. They now walk like normal humans, while still laughing at electroleaps and blast damage. It's a stupid idea but if I don't try it I'll never know
