I would think about swapping min warders and something else for fennblades as jaming unit. They are fast and could jam the opponent and riders finish the Job.

do you still think our current top3 and bottom 3 stayed the same? I feel madrak1 lost a bit of value and is not a top caster in the current meta. Eborka and grim1 are the winners in my opinion since our last vote.

Looking at the last tournament results i see a lot of list without champions. Playing in SoTN i see reasons to keep them at home.
Do you think that we do not need the armor cracking anymore ?
Do you think its because they are too slow and the meta has fixed to crack their def skew? Something else?
Something of topic i see some Kolgrima lists in SoTN playing Northkin Shamans. Anybody got experience with them? I played them in pod but not sure of how good they perform in sotn with Kolgrima

I am really a big fan of a min unit long riders in boh. Take down really helps to not struggle with impacts. They are great as a small independent unit to contest a zone u do not want to contribute much.

Before we are going into more list details perhaps we should answer the question why jarl is competitive?
I think we have a lot of good sotn casters but what does jarl offer that helps vs the current top factions.
Menoth:
We have no way to deal with harbi.
Skorne:
Both makeda3 or zaal2 should be problematic for jarl.
Circle: Quicken + Feat could help to protect our stuff before the lord starts killing us.
I hope I missed something but I believe jarl does not help in any matchup we struggle currently.

I know it's just dreaming but imagine the sorrcerer would either add magic weapons or gw to a unit. This would help trolls in so many matches without being broken. But back to reality... I am so frustrated finding a pairing dealing with the top factions The Sorcerer can already add Damage Type: Magical to a unit and there's Take Down in Band of Heroes? Tools are available, what more do you need? Band of heroes is a theme force not a model. More importantly take down only helps vs some kind of lists. All healing ideas still work like rapid healing , harbi... so we got a special theme force to deal with healing + recursion and it only works in some situations.

Fennblades are a bit overpriced in my opinion and are good example of how cid changed the value of models. Before cid starts fennblades were a really strong unit in the meta and 20 points feel fair . Currently it's hard to get 20 points of value out of them.

Grim does not have tools to protect your army in my opinion speed is your best chance delivering your army. Mage sight + gk + ambush helps limiting the area of the lotf.

I think swift hunter for grim2 is also a nice benefit. Storm troll could be another option cause lightning arc should help dealing with high def low armor models.

Another idea would be a glacier king. We would loose snipe but glacier king + mage sight could help sniping solos. Perhaps adding a bouncer for earth blessing shield guard transfer targets.

I know but eilish double bomber cost 1 solo slot. I am currently thinking which way I wanna go with grim2.
The two ideas are :
Sotn with double bombers combined with mage sight and bears fire eaters combined with Mortality and mirage for thread extension.
Second idea is classic kriel company with be and maxing out the Feat with sluggers....
