I'm curious if anyone thinks this guy is worth the points. Prey is good, trading Dig In and Hog Wild for Reposition while he lives seems like a downgrade. I'm just not seeing the value.

Unless something changed the unit can still choose to use Dig-in or Hog wild whilst being led by the Warlord. Officers can use any orders on the card of the unit they lead. (Ranking officers don’t do this which leads to some confusing interactions.)
Taking the Warlord gives the unit Prey and reposition (3) which are both great rules. Although they don’t synergise well with Dig-in or Hog wild particularly they do add a lot of choice and freedom to the unit. Prey in particular brings them to respectable accuracy and damage output.

I had to re-read the rules there, Officer Attachments being able to issue orders from the Leader's profile is spelled out in the section on Issuing Orders and not in the Officer rules.
Even so four points seems steep for what he's adding to a unit that feels a little over-costed to begin with.

I submit that upwards of 12 POW 14 guns is nothing to dismiss out of hand. I mean, you're not wrong, but my experience has been that delivering the unit with Prey to it's chosen target and then actually finishing that target off tends to be the sticking point. Prey isn't so good if you can't move it to the next thing that needs killing.
