He's monstrous with Haley 1, Haley 2, nemo 3, maybe siege, maybe nemo 1 and 2. Then you would be playing Haley1, Siege, or Nemo2

Sorry, didn't remember that.
Then yes, I think he will see use in Heavy Metal too.

Take 2 seems impressive, for build up power now give the power when advancing rather than aiming. Although it lacks staying power, for it is not sure that it have 2 or more power token on the turn 3 or later. But anyway, shooting for two turns seems enough, and for 18 point it would be a good support anti armor gun platform, good screening model as well as accuracy fixer for the Stormnouns.

Also thanks to the extra boxes its an even better target for alot of buffs now. Arcane shield is good but polarity field on Nemo 2 will let you keep things in it's 10" bubble but still be relatively safe from engagement.
I still don't want to defend Haley 1s nerf but two of these with old temporal barrier could have been pretty backbreaking to alot of lists.

I don't think that Storm Strider works well with Haley1 either. It can't have enough power token to boost all the damage rolls with Feat: Blitz, so its effectiveness is not so increased. Also Haley1 already fixes accuracy problem, which Storm Strider have a solution for that - although on the close distance.
But other than Haley1, still it would be a point efficient gun platform.

I used 2 with Haley 1 and a Hurricane with 3 chargers. Turns out rat 10 means you don't have to boost to hit and you don't have to worry about being attacked back because repulser field, arcane shield and killing every jerk who can actually get to you.

Don't forget that Storm Strider _also_ counts toward free points in Storm Division. If these changes go through even close to what they are now, I think every Cygnar player will own at least one of these.

Cap should still be 3.
Even with Haley pooping feat turn 2, you should be a letter to build up Max tokens by then. And as was said above between their own rat buff and temporal barrier the should almost never need to boost to hit. Thanks to their self sufficient nature they can boost their own shooting leaving Haley enough focus to cast TB and maybe negate a few spells if you keep your striders nearby. She could do just fine in heavy metal as well since battle engines count towards free points. She can get the full 17 free points pretty easily.

You can also deadeye to actually fully boost all 4 shots with 3 power tokens. The list is Haley 1 Hurricane Charger Squire Storm strider x2 Junior Charger Jakes Charger Arlan

I'm also considering running two striders and a hurricane with her but I plan on running fireflys instead of chargers for maximum lightning goodness.

Yeah, but fireflys have more damage rolls, a damage buff for utility, longer melee threat, etc. And with all of the accuracy buffs in this theoretical list, they probably won't need to boost to hit, so they get similar mileage out of focus. I'd say for this list, they're about even. Mind you, I love some chargers. My Stryker2 list has 3 of them!

For Haley1, Storm Strider needs to generate 5 power tokens for three turns to worth Feat:Blitz. Run for turn 1, three shots on the feat turn and two shots in the following turn.
On the minimum it can have only three tokens for three turns. On the average, it would have three tokens in the turn 2, but it can't have two tokens in the turn 3 by 33%.
Anyway, a Storm Strider+Arcane Tempest Rifleman cause more damage to ARM 20 than two Hunters with two focus each in the feat turn, though.
And, because there is no reason to play Haley1, I don't think that make Storm Strider playable do anhthing for her. The others are just have good support platform instead.
