I am for sure. They will take a bit to figure out, but the game plan/play they bring to the table looks very versatile and a lot of fun. I intend to put a blog post up with my takes at some point.

I definitely am, he looks like he has a really strong kit for armor buffs and movement shenanigans. Though he may bring more to Khador than he does to Cryx, it will be fun to brew him and see how he performs.

Nice write up. We will have to wait and see the rules that stick as I will be surprised if they don't make it so that spells like abbatior or the ability meat for the beast become once per turn or something.

Nice write up. We will have to wait and see the rules that stick as I will be surprised if they don't make it so that spells like abbatior or the ability meat for the beast become once per turn or something. Meat for the Beast is already once per turn. I have since played a game with the caster, and I have literally not cast Abattoir. Between allocation and casting/upkeeping what you want, you have just enough focus to use Meat for the Beast to put up Locked Horns. The situations where I even thought about casting Abbatoir were even quite rare. It's a good spell, but I don't feel it pushes him over the edge.

Ah, missed that for meat for the beast. Yeah, he might be better on paper than he is in practice. I will have to see.
