Hammer Strike needs a CID. PP ignores the needs of Dwarf players. My favorite unit is so disliked that I cannot play this game. Many Dwarf-loving players avoid this game because it does not support Dwarf players. Make the Highshields better. Give us a fourth warcaster with more armor buffs. We need more warjacks. Make this game playable for Dwarf players. It is too bad that the PP forums do not have real feedback and that only these unofficial forums are dynamic.

There are so few Rhulic players because of deliberate decisions by the management of this company.

Dwarves are well-represented in every other fantasy game, but not this one. Dwarf players stya away because it is not a friendly environment for Dwarf players.

That’s certainly one possible explanation. I’ll give you another possible one:
People don’t buy and play games just because there’s a faction in one game that is composed of the same fantasy race as some other army in some other game. The idea of there being a sea of “dwarf players” just waiting with wallets in hand for the minute Privateer releases more dwarf models is not true to reality.
Or, alternatively:
Players tend to coalesce around certain primary factions — if I had to bet, I’d say Khador, Cygnar, Circle, Cryx, and Legion are their all-time top sellers — and Privateer makes business decisions based heavily on many years of past sales data. They’d probably know if people were knocking down their door trying to get their hands on Rhulic models, and they’d probably be more than happy to meet that demand, if it existed.
(I bet the only sub faction that sells worse than dwarves are Cephalyx.)

How do you explain why every other fantasy and sci-fi game has tons of Dwarf players? The designers never tried to attract Dwarf players. They created a human and Elf-centric game.

I think that Rhulic sales would improve if they had proper attention and helped diversify their options more. To put it another way, they are a sub-faction that doesn't have strong representation. There are 3 Warcasters and 6 Warjacks. Some of their signature units are hybrids that aren't known for doing any job well. As a group, they have one Theme, though the Warcasters aren't stuck with only that one. Realistically, they either should be pushed in to their own faction separate from Mercs, or be brought up to equity with the non-Rhulic Mercs much like how Minions are split between gators and pigs. Crucible Guard and Grymkin have seen more attention since their inception, aside from the odd Riot Quest model or Minicrate.
As a side note, one other problem is that their clean faces don't really scream out Dwarves to the average passer by. That's always felt off to me.

What makes you think that those “tons” of players will remotely give any sorts of crap if Privateer added more Rhulic stuff? People will play Warmachine primarily because they like the mechanics and because they have a community, not because a particular fantasy race is represented...

I would have taken them for free! (Not really. I’ve had a Gorten battlegroup box since MK I and I still haven’t finished painting it or ever used it.)

Oh, I’ve seen Gorten in action upwards of at least three to five times. Why, Old Witch 1 ate Gorten’s soul to win the game during the MK II release event I won. And, of course, that one guy who brings Rhulic stuff to Lock and Load was using him once too.
See, moarbarmu, that’s the thing. When I can wade through the ~1,000 players at L&L year after year, and count the number of sightings of Rhulic models on one hand, that is, to me — to me! — a solid indicator of their relative popularity. It’s not like in 2018, when it seemed like fully a third of the players were running Armored Corps. I could hardly pass a table without seeing chariots and tankers.

I play rhulic mercs (when I get to play) and while I like the models and the fluff, a biggest appeal is that so few others play them. The special snowflake effect.
I'd like a CID, but it probably wont happen for the reasons others have posted.
If it does, the first thing they have to do is nerf Ossrum to clear up some #designspace. He's simply too good a turdpolisher to be allowed good rhulic units.
