The game is not dead, though like all social hobbies, it is struggling a bit. A lot of people have taken to playing on Wartable, and there are regular leagues getting organized all over. Like all games, there are definitely duds in most factions' lineups, but everyone has several lists available that can compete at the top level.

Are those statements or questions ? Locally, in Poland, it has been mostly dead for a few years, with only a small group of loyal players still playing occasionally. Few online shops (and no B&M ) stil sell WM&H, and with the ones that do you're mostly limited to what they've already had, as new things are impossible to get. Surprisingly, with War Table and Brawlmachine, though, I feel as if people were playing more now, with some of the ex-players coming back. Still the playerbase is tiny both in my city (capital) and the country.

I'm in New England, USA and while one store stopped supporting it last year, another still has a dedicated group that's big enough to keep the hobby alive. It's kind of hard to sell the game to newbies though since it doesn't have the well-known setting of 40k plus the steep learning curve.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8ZjqUltEC4The last few parts of the interview (time stamped) are about WM&H and it's future. As expected, small games are the way to go. The "75pts only crowd" is going to be relegated to playing "an unofficial" format.
