Just a big thank you, Jaden for your work. Would love to see this as a way of reinvigorating the game.

The second iteration of the league actually grew somehow?? We went up to 110 players! Here's a quick rundown of the faction spread, and you can see all stats at this link: conflictchamber.com/?event=1311

Just to agree with others were saying about the time cost playing as a newbie/casual (I haven't played in so long and can't remember even some of the basic rules so I joined as a newbie in the league), just played a 3 turn game of brawlmachine that took nearly 2 hours on wartable. Our next game will hopefully go faster per turn but will last more turns.
On the flip side, I can't imagine trying to manage a 75 point battle which makes this format infinitely better for me trying to get back into things. 25 + 1 requisition gives enough points to really get a good feel of the game again. I will definitely be using it (maybe as the next step after mangled metal) to teach potential new players as there is some fresh blood interested in starting up wargaming nearby.
Great format and great initiative all around, thanks for doing all of this.

As a point of discussion, if there were to be a Brawl-esque format that allowed huge bases, what point level would be most appropriate? I ask mostly because I love the FA1 of Brawl forcing open some choices, but want to play with beefier pieces like the Blightbringer or Throne of Everblight.

I am reminded of a 40K Battle Mission from 5th Edition called Linebreaker. One player was to take what became known as a Lord of War. The other was to take an equivalent force equivalent in point value.
One could possibly do the same thing at the 25 point level if there was a Warcaster or Warlock involved. A lot would be dependent on the friendliness and willingness of the other player involved.
There was a scenario about the Gargantuans having a wrestling match, more or less, so it might be worth looking up.
One other thought. One reason for Brawlmachine disallowing Huge bases was simply due to available space which is easier to move around with smaller based models.
Keep in mind as well, Brawlmachine is player-made, so follow suit and experiment.

You could totally try playing with the huge base models at 25 points. I kind of like the idea of a 25 point, 1 huge base required variant, like Colossal Wrestling but actual game with a different way to calculate VPs. It would give you a lot of options but it also sort ends up meaning that whoever loses their huge base first loses. So it could be a very fast game mode, I would imagine that you could do a best of 5 in the amount of time a regular 75 point game happens. There would be a lot of top tier picks, like High Reclaimer with Judicator.

Not a fan of the idea TBH. With so few manoeuver options I predict it being all about who rolls more damage faster.

Yeah, that's definitely also a concern of mine that I brought up. 25 points does allow a tarpit in front, so there's some option for protecting your huge base. I'd more than wager that the mentioned HR and Judy would just be stupid in the format because of the high power guns shooting over any target and the Choir denying the opponent the ability to fire back.
