I have a specific player in my meta who makes a wall of high def models on his side of the map and then sits around on his side if the board waiting to be attacked. What do you recommend within skorne to deal with this?

Scenario play often fixes turtling. Have you checked out the Steamroller scenarios? Link here: files.privateerpress.com/op/Steamroller%20Rules%202019.pdf In these types of games, it's not just about killing the other army or Warlock, but having models control certain elements (zones and flags) to earn points. Also a concept called "Kill Box" to keep Casters engaged. It changes the way you need to play, but is very fun : ) That said, in Skorne we have some MAT fixers and other tricks! There are a couple FEATs in the faction that help with hitting: Xerxis 2 (extra die, drop one), Makeda 2 (boosted), Makeda 3 (Incite), Morghoul 2 (Blind), Rasheth (-2 DEF) and Zaal1 (extra boosts) If you can deliver your army that far, watch out! Some spells help as well: Death March (Hex 1), Black Spot (Hexeris 2), Incite (Mak 3), Deadeye (Jalaam), Last Stand (Zaal1), Aura of Power (Zaal2), Mortality (Xekaar, Morghoul 2 - use an Immortal Vessel), Carnivore (Rasheth) High MAT (6 or 7) beasts that boost to hit can reliably hit most things (especially our characters- Molik Karn, Tiberion), as well as Divine Inspiration on the Supreme Guardian (not as easy a model to come by...). Hakaar the Destroyer boosts MAT of nearby Stones. The Master Tormentor is MAT 8 and shreds single wound infantry (so I hear, I don't own that model : ) Our shooting isn't a bad option either. Combined shots from Venators can stick pretty well, especially with the Dakaar (+1 to hit). Don't forget blasts! The Titan Cannoneer and Mammoth can blast damage quite well. Cataphract Incindiarii are great against infantry since they blast all the time with Continuous Fire! (which is not blast damage to those units that are immune). POW 12's on the next turn hurt a lot of things. What sort of things does your opponent play? These were all generic thoughts, some things might work well into specific armies (or not work that well at all - like Incindiarii into a lot of Protectorate : )

Really, even if you don't play on a clock or even with steamroller style list pairings, you REALLY should be playing scenarios every time. They add a huge dimension to the game and help to demonstrate the value of all the different model types (war jack, unit, solo, Battle engine, etc)

Mordikaar with archidons. Fly over them with ghostly and assassinate their caster.
This isn't a great suggestion because the above posters already made great suggestions
