Gaspy was planning his speech for at least a week and then Magnus had to come along and ruin it by pointing out his mortal weakness and taking all the wind from his sail.

Sooo, Ret/Skorne cross faction theme after all?
They said one mor CFT would be coming but no warmachine/hordes overlap, but honestly I am grasping for ideas who is even left to pair up with whom on the WM side.

Keep in mind that it’s possible for factions to “ double dip” here... Cygnar got flame in the darkness, the convergence one, AND apparently the troll/Cygnar Khador one.
Its mostly whatever the story creates here, I think we’ll see more of everything.

I don't think we'll be seeing a Troll/Cygnar/Khador one, based on the statement that no cross faction theme will cross systems.
If there's only one more coming total then I imagine odds are on Circle/someone, seeing as they're the ones we're yet to see anything from. Trolls have obviously made alliances but they're cross system alliances, so unlikely to see mechanical representation. Circle is a big player mystically, which is kinda what you want when facing a magical invasion. Circle/Trolls makes the most sense, though weird given the way the Troll story is currently playing out. Similarly Circle/Skorne seems unlikely for much the same reason. Circle/Grymkin is probably what makes the next most sense, the Convergence/Cryx alliance suggests that PP is not adverse to limited factions being involved in these, but Circle/Legion is potentially possible.
Saeryn and Rhyas are still at large as quasi-independent Everblight Warlocks willing to disobey the dragon to further his ambitions. They could play much the same role on the Hordes side of the story that Asphyxious is playing on the Warmachine side. I could see a potential limited theme like Strange Bedfellows with Saeryn/Rhyas representing the Legion side of the alliance.
Pure speculation of course. Just because Trolls are already involved in the story in this capacity doesn't mean they couldn't also be involved in a Circle alliance, same goes for Skorne, so not like they're truly ruled out.

Well regarding a Troll Circle alliance, Doomshaper specifically declines working with the human nations. So maybe we could see him working with circle instead. Circle gymkin also makes a lot of sense to me, because OW and where she ended up in the lore of the oblivion book.

I assume this is where he gets a new body and becomes a super junior?

That seems likely... though a bit of a gamble. At least as an Iron Lich getting blatted doesn't have to be the end. His new body will actually cart his Soul around with him though.

Wonder what’s going on with Durant and the paladins? This doesn’t seem to be the fluff for warriors of the old faith ( though feora and kreoss are present as antagonists).

Asphyxious the sanctified is sort of clearly in a Cyris’s body.

I think a reasonable thing would be Gatormen/circle Devourer Wurm Theme with Wurmwood as one of the Warlocks. Trolls/Farrow Dhunia Theme is confirmed. Then every Archon would have a Theme: Morrow/thamrite Flame in Darkness, Menoth: Warriors of the old Faith, Void: Strange Bedfellows, Dhunia: Troll Farrow (+gobber + ogryn?), Primal: Gator/Tharn theme.
I like how the story is moving and its really alot of material. I think the twitter is a very cool way to put "something" out every day. Its even better if oyu miss a few day and then read through more of the fiction. The small bits also make the story much more "Vision" like, you see something here and there, but much in between is left to the imagination.

It is a really interesting (and effective) way of telling a story.

I have really dug it, myself. I really hope they use this chance to give us an update on what everyone is up to in the story. Let me see what Sturgis is up to!

It's good stuff. The format reminds me of some of the best stuff of the old expansion books. Short, character focussed snippets, ranging pretty widely across the setting to get a good grasp of what a wide cast of characters are up to. It's also ramping up plot-wise pretty quickly. I am deeply, deeply interested to see if the story continues, and how, once the Warcaster future setting has been set up.
There are a few places where it has been truly stellar. If nothing else, that one line about Haley no longer being terribly sure what timeline she was in did more to make her an interesting character than the past decade and a half of writing (including being the main character in at least two novels I can think of). It doesn't dwell on the fact long enough to dive into the implications, but at least I'm somewhat keen to see what she does next.
