Is the sacral vault worth getting to fill in my collection? Its 1/2 off ($60) without a minion army but I know it can fit in our OoA.

It could be worth it, especially if you like Thag1. It's a durable piece that he makes harder to kill.
It probably won't do much with the theme's corrosion bonus because it already does a damage to anything entering 2". Frankly though, that's better in every way.
It is a generally solid and versatile choice.
Most importantly in my opinion, it is Legion's only hirable option to prevent enemy spells from landing, like calamity, mortality, and other assassination enablers.
