Hi! after realizing I was making an illegal Band of Heroes theme list with Grissel 1, I just made this and I think it's really really good. But I'm still wondering some things.
Grissel 1 (+29 )
Mauler (15 free WB pts) Mauler (15 free WB pts)
+1
Axer (10 pts)
Krielstone ( 9 pts) Stone Scribe Elder ( 3 pts)
Trollkin Champions (17 pts) Trollkin Sorcerer ( 3 pts)
Stone Scribe Chronicler (4 pts)
Skaldi Bonehammer ( 0 pts)
Trollkin Champions ( 17 pts)
Trollkin Sorcerer ( 3 pts) Stone Scribe Chronicler (4 pts)
Trollkin Champion Hero (0 pts )
Whelps ( 4pts)
Total : 75 pts
Do you think it would be better to put an EBDT instead of the 2nd mauler ? If so, maybe a Bouncer instead of the axer ? (even without the "if so", maybe it would be better anyways ?). I want this list to be my anti-infantry list (do you think it's viable for that ?), so maybe the Axer is better because of thresher or is it just overkill ?
And do you think I should go with the full unit of the stone or the minimal would be ok ?

Just looking at the points I would switch up a few things. Your two free models could both be working to give you other free models instead.
I'd put Skaldi on the first full unit and pay for him. Then I'd make the 2nd unit of champions a min unit without a sorcerer and choose to pay for the hero. This alone would free up two free solos (fell Caller for sure) and three points... all for only losing 2 champions and a sorcerer.
What to do after that gets muddy, but personally I'd trade one of the 4pt solos and a Mauler for a bouncer. This gives Grissel access to a guaranteed 4 fury a turn and damage output from behind your line of champions.

Maybe I don't understand what you are saying, but what I see in your suggestion of "free models for free" (I am paraphrasing) doesn't work. It takes 20 points of Champions, Warders or Long Riders to have 1 free medium solo (or command attachment). if I do what you say : Full unit ( 17 pts) Skaldi (5 ) Fell Caller ( free) min unit : 10 pts Hero ( 5 pts) this gives 37 points, not 40, so I get only one solo with two sorcerer (wich costs 3 and ARE legal in BoH, it was ruled, but I assume you know that) they make the 20 points and I can TWO five points solos. So basically, with your way, you are getting 1 free solo with 37 points and my way, I get two solos for 40 points and I have full unit instead of a minimum one. Not to mention that I think the sorcerer is WAY too important for at least one reason : he can remove annoying spells and animi that would hinder my units. And how can you justify to trade a 15 points Warbeast (that is free, btw) but worth 15 pts AND a solo for ONE bouncer that costs 9 pts ? you want me to remove 17 points worth for 9 ? I don't even... And what do you mean by " guaranteed 4 fury a turn and damage output from behind your line of champions." ?

I made two mistakes there.
1. I meant to leave the sorcerer on one of the units of Champions.
So it would be: Max Champions (17) - Skaldi (5) - Sorcerer (3) Champion Hero (5) Min Champions (10)
Then you could get a free Fell Caller and a free Chronicler.
2. I intended to write bomber instead of bouncer.
Sorry about that!

So the full list I would create would be:
Grissel 1 Bomber (19) Mauler (15) Bouncer (9) - I agree with you that the bouncer animus is important here. If you come across a shooty infantry list you gotta stay standing.
Fell Caller Hero (0) Fell Caller Hero (0) Chronicler (4) Chronicler (4) Whelps (4) Champion Hero (5)
Champions Max (17) - Skaldi (5) - Sorcerer (3) Champions Min (10)
Krielstone Min (6) - Elder (3)
So in this list you lose 2 champions, one sorcerer and go from a Max stone to a min stone. You also drop a Mauler.
You gain two Fell Callers, and a Bomber.

I agree with you that a bomber is really a good idea in this list, especially if I want (more) anti-infantry and even (try to) kill some stuff before entering close combat.
The only thing I kind of worried about is the min unit stone. While I play it often, even if one my champions unit is reduced, it'S still lot of models and I am afraid it won't cover everyone.
The other thing I m kind of worried is that losing the sorcerer on the second unit. Sure, it's only on 3 and it's way less worst than on a full unit but not being able to remove some pesky stuff on them, annoys me.
But I really like the fact that you managed to squeeze two fell callers and two chroniclers.
Someone told me that it is a bit of overkill (two chroniclers), I kind of a agree, do you ? I could put my second sorcerer there, don'T you think. But at this, point it is really a matter of personnal choices, I think
oh, and you didn't explain the thing about "guaranteed 4 fury a turn and damage output from behind your line of champions." I still don't understand this

Ah yes. In that list is seems you'd be keeping your bouncer and one mauler close. They wouldn't be creating much fury that you'll need for Grissel. The bomber gives you a guaranteed useable fury to pull from each turn while still staying back.
I did think two chroniclers was a bit redundant. I'm also not a regular sorcerer user, but it helps in this case with the free points.
I would consider pulling the chronicler to max the stone or to maybe find a way to get a min unit of fennblades or warriors in there to screen. The thing about the Champions having 5 boxes now is they don't often survive a charge... being within the stone or having a screen unit would help more than the chronicler or another sorcerer, imo.
