Two Trench Templates within 20" of the table edge and Rise for Farrow (possibly Farrow Warrior models) was what I got from the chats I had.

Oh that's not too bad. I don't like rise (other people might like it?) but two theme benefits that encourage delivery is good.

Yeah. More reason for Brigands to avoid using Dig In, but at least they got a functional version of the ability that doesn't cost them all the board presence.

The Insider from Hungerford is up! A few new things. A model called "Scythe", the Wolf with No Name confirmed as a Minion and available in Thornfall, a few other models added to the list, and Slaughterhousers with Relentless Charge AND a drop to 9 points. Might be some other new stuff, I didn't look super closely.

Scythe is the nyss sniper/deathstalker. We also learned that she's 5 pts (and the wolf is 4).
8pt Gun boars sound very cool (as do the 14pt war hogs which was expected, but with an extra fury to spend should be one of the scariest melee heavies in the game). No point changes for brigands is a little disappointing though.

Cheaper War Hogs that don’t force to dial? That’s all you needed to say! Everything else is a nice bonus I guess, don’t think the ‘Houser change is going to shift them into seeing play more often but I’m happy to be proven wrong
EDIT - oh wait that’s a 2 point drop on them, better than I thought!

The point drop and relentless may not be all the changes slaughts get; note the 1stpost mention of them also getting a bit tougher

The point drop and relentless may not be all the changes slaughts get; note the 1stpost mention of them also getting a bit tougher That particular spoiler had a big asterisk next to it, mind you. It was very much a maybe, the substantial point drop may be a roundabout way of achieving the same result. Slaughterhousers now compete almost directly with Valkyries, which is neat. Currently it's WWFF (or Thornfall 'beast lists, which some Warlocks may prefer if they think trenches and aaalvage trump Overtake, though I would personally disagree on that in most instances) that gained the most. My Arkadius list gains 4-6 points of models, which more than makes up for losing a free solo. Plus the actual components of the list getting better. The War Hog buff is huge, but I can't help but feel the Road Hog is an even greater beneficiary. The War Hog could usually destroy its targets with a buff or two anyway, but the Road Hog being able to truly leverage its improved threat range against hard targets for no real cost feels massive.

There’s art floating around somewhere, but I’d imagine he’s something along the lines of Longchops (I.e. shooty abilities on a tanky frame)

Pigs needed an overhaul. The theme changes and cheaper slaughterhousers are a start, but certainly won't make them competitive. The beasts changes are pretty good, hopefully they fix the Road Hog too. Hungerhord mentioned Adrenalize so unfortunately the Battle Boar will probably stay as is.
I'm looking at starting Skorne so I can use my Farrow warbeasts properly. The War Hog will be the most efficient beater in Skorne now, and they can buff it way better.

Setting aside whether pigs are competitive (I feel they are, they're just locked into a very small number of specific lists in WWFF), what exactly are you concerned about with the Road Hog and Battle Boar? Both Full Boar and Adrenalize are explicitly called out as abilities that don't need to be forced to use. It's also heavily implied that the Road Hog is one of the models getting a point decrease, based on the use of "they" in the same paragraph when Will is talking about the point drops and Dial abilities and the fact that the Battle Boar hasn't changed in points.

When I said 'pigs' I was basically meaning Thornfall. I know we can make a few solid lists in WWFF using some gators and lesser warlocks.
For the Road Hog I'd like to see his spray get a little better, or just cheap. 14 as he is now would be fine.
I've always hated Adrenalize on the Battle Boar (and been vocal about it 😂). Killing spree on spd5, mat5, 0.5" melee model that has overtake and multiple attacks anyway. It counts on your opponent playing extraordinarily poorly to do anything more than what he could anyway with overtake from one of our many sources. I would love that ability to get changed for something useful.

Unless Pigs get a super infantry caster, buff to Pigs are mostly buffs to WWFF and Skorne
