Hello everyone. I have recently purchased the Trollbloods battlegroup for my stepson, it has Ragnor, an Axer, a Bouncer and an Impaler.
The next logical step once we get finished painting would be for us to have a 0pt game. As my stepson is intelligent he will know if I'm letting him win by playing like a derp, but at the same time he is 10 years old so I'm sure he will want to win his first game very badly.
I play mercenaries, but am pretty new to the game myself, so I'm wondering what the worst possible zero point battlegroup is I could make with a mercenary warcaster and some warjacks, for fighting the troll battlegroup above so that I can look like I'm playing to win but still have good chance of losing!
I'd really appreciate some feedback. Doesn't bother me if it's a dorf or human battlegroup!

Play Constance??
Really it doesn't matter what you play. Poor target prioritization is probably the best way to fake it.

After just having played against a Trollblood Battlebox for the first time, I'd say, anyone who you don't want knocked down. Ragnor has two aoe knockdown abilities, and if your battlegroup stays anywhere close to each other, they will all spend a lot of time on the ground. I didn't have much of a choice, terrain rather boxed us in real good, and I wasn't aware of them when the game started.

OK, thank you both for your replies. I'm glad you pointed out the knockdown because I'm not familiar with anything outside the stuff I've played against which is only Cygnar and Protectorate so far!
Maybe I could run Ashlynn with a few light jacks as she depends on her high defence to live.

Another idea I havnt seen mentioned yet is loaded dice, never advocate their use but this could be the exception. You can buy them in dud varieties that have two 1's. Otherwise as already stated poor target priority and knockdown may help.

Don't use dorfs, they are really good unless you run say Ossrum with an avalancher and rockram or something.
Ashlynn might be a good choice. If you give her a nomad, vanguard, talon will look legit but not hit very hard outside the nomad. That's a 29 point BG.
He might not win first time tho as Ashlynn can conceivably stab a troll light to death herself. If he tries to kill her without prep he'll get a bit frustrated.

Those 'jacks are still scary with Ossrum at the helm. Snipe, Fire for Effect, the feat and Energizer, he'll chew you up at range and still get the alpha charge. Never play Ossrum if your objective is defeat. Try Fiona maybe. She's really not a battlebox-style 'caster and she's done if you get her on the ground.

A buccaneer might also be a good idea. It's only 6 points but relatively pillow-fisted and can organically show him how good knockdown is.
