I had the krielstone bearer knocked down tonight. He has no attack action to give up, and protective aura is not a star action, so does that mean he can only stand if he gives up his movement? Can he give up his "attack" (which he does not have the ability to do) and stand up, then move?
When we played he gave up his movement to stand and "did" (it's not a star action or a spell it seems) protective aura. Did we play it correctly? Or could I have also moved.

I'm pretty sure all models have a movement and combat action. I don't see anything that says you don't get one, even if you usually just have to pick the 'do nothing' option. So you could've sacrificed your combat action instead and moved at a normal rate (and used your aura).
