Returning Mk.II Player New to Khador

If you're set on Butcher, then consider getting Ruin, his character jack. It's an excellent piece.

Kayazy Eliminators are a very good unit, cheap in both monetary and points cost, and one unit can be taken in any theme.

A recent release, the Greylord Adjunct, is our new warcaster attachment. He is also available in every theme, and gives you some focus support and magical weapon access.

Jacks-wise it sounds like you have an excellent set-up there. The Kodiak, Marauder, Juggernaut and Destroyer are all fine choices, so I would magnetise the juggernaut kit to give yourself options.

Jaws of the Wolf is jacks all the way, with some supporting options. With what you have there, you could take Juggernaut, Destroyer, Kodiak as your jacks, and then Kayazy Eliminators as a unit. This would give you a free solo, and 8 remaining points. If you want some shooting options, you could take Widowmakers. Or you could take 2 of the many 4 point solos available. The Widowmaker Marksman is a good shooter, and the Forge Seer is good support for your jacks.
If you get Ruin, then you could drop one of the 4 point solos and swap out the Juggernaut.

That list should give you a nice blend of melee, shooting, units and solos.

In Legion of Steel, you are basically going to take enough jacks to use your warjack points, and then take Iron Fangs. The basic Iron Fang unit is solid, and costs 15 points. You need 20 points to get the theme benefits, and you want some solos. If you take the Kovnik and the Unit attachment, that puts you on 23 points and lets you take Sofia for free. It also gives you 30 points for Warjacks, so you can perfectly fit Ruin and a Kodiak/Juggernaut.

This list has no shooting, but it uses the theme benefits more efficiently.
