So there's this narrative league that released... a couple of months back at this point, I think? I haven't seen really any conversation surrounding it, and with the usual talking points of "Warmachine needs to do more in the narrative/casual space to broaden its appeal", I figured I'd just draw some attention to it. The scenarios are a unrelated hodge-podge of historical events that allow you to basically drop any list into them and add a few special rules to represent those historical armies, but they're pretty cute on their own and work pretty well if you actually take the time to ensure the factions/armies are somewhat appropriate (i.e. Legion vs Retribution for the Razing of Issyrah, or Cygnar vs Protectorate for the First Cygnaran Civil War, and so on).

The style on the forum needs to actually show links in a different format so people can tell they're there.

Slyvetrso on Feat turn and how much work the sprays do under extra dice/drop lowest on both the Vulcan and the Railess Syyvestro with his +2 speed buff to the things Alyce so eyeless if that is needed Transmutation on either Rocketmen or Halbies as the tarpit so that the Vulcan and Railess(es) don't need to get committed until they want to.
THere are other things here but those are the big ones and the ones worth thinking about.

In my meta, Crucible Guard is described as "Cygnar, but good". For those of you who already felt that Cygnar was good... Umm...

In my meta, Crucible Guard is described as "Cygnar, but good". For those of you who already felt that Cygnar was good... Umm... Yeah....they have all the tools. However, I think that if you can tech against cygnar you can tech against them and they _ARE_ very much a clockwork faction in that even if you "overpay" to take out something like the victor or the dragon breath rockets that is likely to your advantage. Once they start loosing key pieces they play on the front side of the card which isn't THAT scary.
That said, I have reworked nearly all my lists to have things with seige weapons to deal with the Railless and the Vulcan. Lots of benefits into other things with huge bases but that is a key consideration with these ones.

I once described it as "Play Cryx with a lot of Mercs but then suck all of the fun out of it." It's a shame when most of their models look fantastic but their playstyle is just dreadful and asinine.

Can you run themes for week 3, or at all? Feels weird to run a warcasterless theme force but the RAW allows it.
