I am looking through troll warlocks and none seem all that sneak/good for assassinations.

From a fluff perspective I'd say Jarl or Grim fit that niche?
In game there are plenty with some good assassinations, Jarl with magic bullet, madrak with ricochet, doomy with sling-shotting a heavy across the table, kolgrimma...I'm sure there are plenty more that I can't think of off the top of my head

I think Grissel2 is out top assassin with ROF3 KD-gun. Grim1 is also good with feat and KD-gun. Grim2 is quite good with mortality and feat. Jarl is sneaky but not that good assassin although he can surprise enemy by 4x magic bullet (enough for weak high-def casters). Kolgrima can do spell assassination on her own with just northkin stone and Bomber is nice add-on. Doomshaper2 can sling warbeast quite far as can also Borka1 but they are far from sneaky.

Not sure if guns fit the bill, I guess when I think of sneaky I think of has a way to get near with some thing unique like the legion warlock that can take a place of a unit he boxes(can't remember his name). It let's him be next to your warlock with all his initials and 4 fury to boost or force more attacks.

Is kolgrima pow 12 spray enough I mean even with stone pow 14 seems a little underwhelming.

So your wanting like, The Spanish Inquisition of assassination Warlocks? Then I agree that we probably don't have one of those. But Trolls do still have plenty of assassination options. Grissel2 being my personal favourite.

POW 14 and the "fake boost" means she can kill casters herself, but more usually you fish for crit stationary and finish the job with a Bomber or something.

Best assassin is still calandra imho.
People always underestimate her assassination potential. Rerolling bombershots or mk sprays from downtown. New gk can also work.

Madrak3 is so weak that any win he achieves would be rather sneaky.

Swamptrolls under grim2 feat project a lot of assassination threat. 5" walk, 12" pull... which you probably won't get but those that do not play against it are boned. Then you get two stomps and anyone else who wants to have a go.

Best assassin is still calandra imho. I agree. All of my wins with her in MkII were assassinations.

Madrak3 is so weak that any win he achieves would be rather sneaky. Yet Righteous Vengeance can open up surprising vectors and he's quite capable of killing another caster in melee or even at range with two fully-boosted RAT 7, POW 14 shots followed by a Bomber. More generally, though, grinding attrition until you get an opening for an assassination run is the default for most Trollbloods lists. In fact, I'm trying to think of current lists that win on scenario significantly more often and the only one that comes to mind right now is gdnerd Madrak 1 in Storm of the North, yet even there, the Glacier King is a constant threat to most casters. Grissel 2 really is the top of the list, though. She and one Bomber WILL shoot you dead if you're on anything less than a 3 camp without multiple shield guards or some other special defense against guns and she has anything resembling a decent opening. She also has the tools to manage attrition until she gets that opening. The Borkas also do the attrition into assassination game but with melee instead of guns. Both Grims are able to focus fire well enough to take down most casters more abruptly. Doomy 2 just needs to get any dire troll in on you. Befuddle can't target casters but Calandra can use it to open lanes and her feat and rerolls help a lot. Kolgrima's sprays are huge, especially with Dark Power and the crit freeze.

Maerak 2 with a brawler and an axer can get obscene threat ranges for a melee beast with warpath and feat, but no one really remembers that. That could be "sneaky" in a troll sort if way i guess?

Calandra or Grissel2 with Burrowers. Both have ultimate hit buffs, and Burrowers, after 2 years of MK3 obscurity, may be forgotten by some in the flush of new models/themes. Takes patience and the willingness to sacrifice much of my army to the scenario-contesting gods, but 6 pop-up POW 14s still assassinate. Two good things about scenario play is opposing warcasters are fairly predictable in positioning, and moving a marker is quicker than carefully positioning a unit, saves death clock. I still have a second Burrowers leader waiting for the day PP un-FA1's them!
