A kayazy caster would be neat, but the problem would be how he got trained. The bratyas don't even take people who were in the winterguard, much less trained by greylords. Call me crazy but I could easily see Feora sending an idrian priest/warcaster to work the merc market for some plan of hers. Look at it from the other way around. The Bratyas were the ones who found the Warcaster and "rent" them out to the military for certain contracts. I think that is the closest idea so far, but honestly I don't see either one. Frankly, I could almost see a Hordes (Circle or trollbloods probably) partisan before I saw a Khador one. At least they aren't working at aggressively cross purposes.

Either way is a moot point for the overall discussion as I don't think we'll be seeing a Partisan Warcaster with a Steelhead tag or in a Steelhead theme. I could see MacBain in a Steelhead theme, but I would be almost surprised to see the Magnus' in there and completely surprised to see Blaize and Cain3 in it. Alt-Stryker being a different story, of course.

Steelhead theme should include p-much all merc casters except cephalyx and maybe pirates. They're a huge org and most anyone could hire them out.

I still don't think we'll see Blaize and Cain3 in there because they would normally be the ones doing the hiring rather than being hired to lead their troops. MacBain is a well known Merc, so he's an obvious in. Magnus is a bit of hit or miss largely because of the work he's given them as opposed to his now known connections to the second Coup. Ashlynn and Crosse's involvement in the Resistance probably puts them in the outs, especially since they get their extra-special Theme to work with. Shae will probably be out, but Fiona and Bart are possible, maybe. The Rhuls would be interesting, but I wonder if a Steelhead Theme would be so accommodating to a group that already has their own Theme to work with and won't be using most of their units.

I agree on your assessment, with the exception of potentially Magnus, and even then, I could more easily see Magnus1 than Magnus2, but I doubt they would draw the line there.

If blaize and Cain3 hire them and are leading a group of primarily steelheads, why would they not be theme casters?

Blaize is a warrior priest of Morrow operating out of Cygnar. Cain3 is more on the run or operating a backdoor. Part of a Theme is that the Warlocks and Warcasters need to match the Theme as well, which is why we don't see Cephalyx in The Resistance, Ashlynn in Kingmakers, or Magnus in Hammer Strike.

Sure, Cain3 can go full-time Merc as soon as he loses his Partisan.
