Alternate history casters and not good enough for me, so I decided to make an alternate history faction. I'd been joking about doing this for a while (to troll Cygnar player), but didn't want to spend the $50 on a battle box I would never use. Well, along came the Mystery Box and I ended up with a Cygnar one, so time to get rolling...
What if... Vinter's Skorne invasion succeeded and Khador mobilized to defend Western Immoren, conquering and annexing most of Cygnar in the process.
All miniatures have had their filthy swans removed and replaced with noble and heroic Khadoran Anvils. Red/Orange is the color scheme (I was aiming for closer to red, but they are close enough for me). They have swamp bases (although it took me a few minis to figure out how to do them properly). Various conversion bits have been used, ordered from the PP store or leftovers from plastic kits.
Squire - Now runs on far superior Frost Power Viscount Alain Runewood has traveled to the imperial capital to study under the greatest Iron Fang warriors to teach his subordinates the superior fighting tactics developed there.
Holy crap dude! That's amazing! I love the theme, and the models look brilliant! The orange came out really nice, and it looks especially good in the models where you combined it with a blue glow, like the Firefly. The swamp bases are well done, I especially love Kraye's!
Khador's Widowmakers are feared by all of her enemies. The marksmen triply so. However, when the concept of "elite marksmen" was attempted to be explained to the natives of South Khador, they just didn't get it. Not only did they throw their rank-and-file at the problem, they insisted on waving about giant flags, which while very patriotic, dramatically hindered their effectiveness as snipers.
