I highly doubt that they would put caster restrictions on non-mec\minion themes. If things like Thags in Children of the Dragon (blighted nyss theme,) Most Cygnar Casters in the Gunmage theme and casters other than Bradigus and the baldurs in the Wolds theme all exist, I highly doubt that the exemplar theme would limit the number of casters we could bring (well, at least hard-limit anyway.)

Isn't Kreoss the only actual exemplar? Also, Scrutators should also be included since they have the Exemplar's unquestioning loyalty. But then you also have fluff on the working with Amon, Reclaimer/Testament, The Harbinger, Reznik. Hell even the forces of distinction book had them running with Fiora 2, plus the new book coming has them working with Tristan. I think the only two casters I haven't seen some mention of them working with are Thyra and Malekus.

It's much needed because at present neither of our theme list grant any access to magical weapons (well, unless you're running Malekus+Eye or Reznik2). It will be interesting to see if this turns out to be a limited caster (ie Exemplar casters) only theme, as I can't help feeling that with some of our casters (Vindictus and Harbinger here's looking at you) free solos or advance move or additional deployment could just be bent. I mean it probably won't be much more powerful than Cygnar Storm devision or the Legion themes. I mean, To be honest there's not much in the game right now that would lead me to expect anything game breaking coming out. Especially considering it will be an army of Medium speed dudes. That situationally acquire pathfinder Harby, Vinny are infantry support casters, they should be the first options we look to when an infantry theme comes out. Harbies abilities are mostly CMD 10 limited anyway so she'll be right up with the all Combat oriented knights leaving her vulnerable. I could be wrong but I'm sure we'll be fine. Caster restrictions just mean less diversity in lists and less allowed creativity IMHO

Both lists have access to sanctifiers, which cover most magical weapon needs.

The sanctifier is probably a bit inefficient in Creator's Wrath for lack of souls, but I agree that he can definitely help in Guardians.

From the NQ cover it is called "Exemplar Interdiction" which is nice and flavorful. I really, really hope that one of the benefits is Pathfinder.

going by definition, it would probably be a universal blessed weapons or some other type of denial. Interdicting basically means "to forbid." So thinking of it along the lines of our indictor, it could even be an auto spell ward or some sort of dispelling function for exemplars. I doubt, with a name like that, that it will have something to increase movement or pass through terrain unhindered.

We can do it anyway, just means we have to take any combination of zealots, mercs with preist, a devout, and a caster with either arcana or banishing ward.
