I played Legion in mk2 and sold them off. Looking to get back into the game with a JML.
I can choose between these 4 casters to start: Abby2 Kryssa1 Saeryn1 Vayl1
We start at 0pts and increase by 15 each week. Can start using themes at week 3(30pts) and can add BEs week 6 (60pts).
Im eventually wanted to build out a 2 list pairing of oracles with lots of spells and Primal terror with lots of beef. I was recommended starting the JML with Saeryn1.
Was thinking:
Legion Army - 0 / 0 points
[Saeryn 1] Saeryn, Omen of Everblight [+28] - Carnivean [18] - Nephilim Bloodseer [8]
Then
Legion Army - 12 / 15 points
[Saeryn 1] Saeryn, Omen of Everblight [+28] - Carnivean [18] - Nephilim Bloodseer [8] - Seraph [14]
Then
Legion Army - 30 / 30 points [Theme] Oracles of Annihilation
[Saeryn 1] Saeryn, Omen of Everblight [+28] - Carnivean [18] - Carnivean [18] - Nephilim Bloodseer [8] - Seraph [14] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)]
Does this seem like the right track to take?

Abby2 pairs really good with primal terrors. She plays well into axis double tep for example.
Start with a Scythean and a Neraph, add a Seraph and a Spell Martys week two for example.

I would steer clear of Saeryn if at all possible. I don't see much play from Vayl1 either, but Abby2 and Kryssa seem pretty workable. If I were doing JML, which sort of implies the need for a mixed force (both beasts and infantry), I would probably choose Kryssa as she is mostly army ambivalent. If you are willing to attempt an all-beast force, Abby2 is your girl. She even makes Blight Wasps work, giving you access to units (and therefore unit-mulchers)
