As the title suggests:
Does she really come without the extra rockets/bombs that the unit has strapped on the right side shoulder pad? All my officers came without them, and she looks oddly naked next to her subordinates without them. Just wanted to know if there is a missing parts request to be made here or if I need to start converting

That is correct. If you look at the gallery on PP website it doesn't have them. The original concept art also didn't include them.
Actually in the art none of the bombardiers have grenades strapped to their shoulders.

What would be required to make the Bombshell Bombardier the UA? Obviously very distinct so it would be easy for my opponent to ID the UA. Would I have to somehow "convert" it? I own both - so it is just a question of what earlier in the painting que.

The only thing that SHOULD be added to a conversion is to ensure that the iconic parts of the original model are visible in the conversion so that it is instantly identifiable to your opponents what the converted model is supposed to represent. Other than that, as long as it's 50+% of PP parts, you're good to go. So, the question becomes: "What separates the Officer from a standard Bombardier?" |

Well, the bombshell doesn't have a weapon...
I think you basically would need to put the officers weapon on the bombshell model... And maybe the head? I mean the only unique feature is the head and pose...

Huh, she does too... Exactly like how the officer is holding it... For some reason I remembered it as having the keg instead of a weapon... >_<
I dunno, it looks like it's pretty hard to convert to the officer then. You could put the head on but it would probably look ridiculous... Maybe remove the keg and change the arm to be pointing?
You would be fine for any non PP event, but I'm guessing it would be disallowed at the offical tournaments...

I feel like the question was asked on the old forums if the Bombshell could be used as the officer, and PP said no because she had previous been ruled as legal as a regular Bombardier. Bit of a mess really; if that had sculpted the UA to have some sort of distinguishing feature then perhaps it would have been easier to convert the bombardier to clearly represent the UA. Instead the attachment is... staggeringly plain and unadorned, which is unusual for PP.

Isn't the bombardier bombshell already an acceptable alternate to the CA, much like the blighter bather can be used as the spawning vessel and the druid gone wilder as a regular wilder?

No, because she came out years before the attachment was announced. So when the bather was made legal for use as a spawning vessel and the druid as the regular wilder, she was made legal for play as a regular Bombardier grunt because there was no officer for her to be used as. So now that there is an officer, well, she's already considered a grunt, so it would be confusing if suddenly she counted as a different model. |

We'll isn't that silly  I'm sure in any non official PP event the TO would accept the bombshell as the CA if informed about it beforehand. That's the first model I'm thinking off when seeing her. Same pose, same gender, clearly standing out from the grunts |
