Has anyone actually tried the "Pacific Rim" build with 2x Viktor and a Konquest? Seems like it could be a cute idea for more casual play. I mean I would play it for fun... But who owns three colossals?! Even if it was the most meta breaking power list I wouldn't be buying three of the damn things

That’s actually one of the cheaper theme lists if you don’t already own some of the models. 🤪

I own two, and the 2nd has a swappable gun. If someone were to unload a kit for cheap, and I mean cheap...yeah I’d buy it.

I picked up two Colossal kits on Amazon for $75 each when it was first announced they were included in the CID. Unfortunately a lot of other people had the same idea, and I doubt there will be any that cheap any time soon. Otherwise I'd totally get a third one.

Has anyone actually tried the "Pacific Rim" build with 2x Viktor and a Konquest? Seems like it could be a cute idea for more casual play. The lot I bought into Khador had 2 Victors and a Conquest. I've played it 4-5 times in casual play, and will likely take it to my next local event for the lulz.
My impressions during those games are that a good opponent can exploit your low number of activations to jam you out of scenario, and that the Conquest almost never pulls its weight compared to each Victor. The conquest may have been better for it's creeping barrages before the proliferation of medium base infantry on the table.
I've played 1 or 2 games of double Victor, and prefer it over the 3 colossal version.I'm sure there are situations where skewing all the way helps in a matchup, but not enough for my taste.

BTW I wrote up a battle report here. It's a very low-level game, so don't go in expecting much.

I do own two victor and a conquest, But the Harkevich Pacific Rim list just isn't very good, I've won games with it, but having 8 models means you can get jammed easily and if you do lose the colossal on one flank not losing on scenario is very hard. It's kind of fun to play, but I wounldn't call it competitive.
